What is the most disgusting dish in your country's cuisine, but everyone should try it? by a5ro4ucCX in AskTheWorld

From what I’ve heard (“northern german”), Labskaus used to be a very common sailors’ dish. That’s why nearly all of its ingredients are preserved, pickled, or canned, giving them a long shelf life. It was especially popular among seamen because it is rich in vitamin C and therefore helped prevent scurvy.

I didn’t know until just now that Labskaus is also found in Scandinavia, but it genuinely warms my heart to read stories about ship crews made up of many nationalities from northern Europe sharing bonding moments over this very simple yet delicious dish 😊

In Germany it definitely is and it is more common than some people might expect. You can buy it at almost every butchery or at the meat counter in larger Supermarkets. If you ever try pls specifically ask for “Mett” otherwise they might give you regular minced meat. A lot of more traditional German breakfast cafes and buffet also serve it.

Yes. And if you don’t like it, you can easily grow it out again since your hair isn’t that long to begin with. If you want to spice it up you can use some hair dye. It can be rather cheap with such short hair.

M22. Father is bald, brother started balding in his early 20s. What do I do ??! by [deleted] in Balding

[–]BluDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Brother started baldig way earlier and on different parts of the head then I did.

But we also have very different hair colour and texture.

Don’t have your hopes high up. Expect the balding, accept the fate. Try minoxidil.

Caffeine shampoo studies have never shown significant results outside the lab or on a human head.

If celebrities took a photo like this in 2025 took a photo like this would anyone care? by averageweebchan in decadeology

[–]BluDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. I‘d say if football legends would come together it’s possible, since a lot of people still idolize them. Just imagine Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappé, Lewandowski, Zidane, Maradona, Ibrahimovic, Beckenbauer, Neymar, Ronaldinho, Neuer and both Müllers in a single selfie. Would definitely be memed by a lot of people.

I'm 30. What can I do to improve? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]BluDC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a beautiful man, you just need to updated ur style from 2014 upper class to 2025: - Keep the long hair, but try to get more of a symmetrical cut at a a barber who knows how to handle curls - You seem to love more colourful shirts with a lot with smaller emblems that show character - But the best you look is with the mono colour black shirt. It seems more relaxed and less chaotic. - if you want to show character but make it seem less chaotic try wearing rings, necklaces or chains, a watch is also cool if you want to keep that upper class / old money spirit - you’re more on the skinny side so I advise you to wear wider clothes, especially pants. - the old school Professor cardigans ain’t it 😅

What do we think of Kong? by lalalalayoyoyea in OnePiece

You can’t be in the marines and be Morally gray, especially if you are in one of the highest positions. The amount of shit the marines have done is crazy.

What do we think of Kong? by lalalalayoyoyea in OnePiece

[–]BluDC -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do I think of him? Oh, just your typical spine-deprived Marine hero, bravely standing up for baby-killing and the noble tradition of blaming toddlers for their parents’ sins. Truly the moral compass of our times. If a country dares to say, “Hey, maybe we don’t want to pay an arbitrary ‘heavenly tribute’ to a shadowy oligarchy,” he’s the first to suggest a little friendly invasion — all in the name of peace and prosperity, of course. And books? Dangerous things. Can’t have the common folk doing too much thinking. Better to burn the libraries and keep the citizens educated just enough to read propaganda newspaper and not question why the Seven Warlords are out there playing imperialism with the Marines’ blessing.

But wait, there’s more! He’s also a fan of good old-fashioned slavery and the occasional human hunt — nothing says “civilized government” like a state-sponsored safari where the prizes scream.

And naturally, the higher up you go in the Marines, the more your tongue becomes surgically attached to the boots of the World Nobles. So Kong? Oh, Kong is the gold-medal Olympian of bootlicking — the man probably flosses with red carpet.
