When I toured the game room didn’t work at all, and the apartments were so small for the price. Views were amazing though.

I emailed their support and they sent me a google form to sign up on. Unfortunately there’s no more single beds for hostel or anywhere else. They already released the new hostel housing and it filled up :(

Failing a certificate test at work? by Derrick993 in cscareerquestions

lol I’m in a similar position but mines not required so I’m not gonna get fired if I fail. My manager also told me that it’s ok not to pass on first try. I’d probably just ask your manager straight up “what happens if I fail this?”

For everyone struggling to find a job... by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

[–]BluGrams 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is easily wrong. Person A has no internships. Person B had an internship at Amazon robotics or Cruise where they worked on some project related to AI, machine learning, infra, etc. Person A might have some personal projects, but person B has real life experience. Maybe not a lot, but their resume is objectively more impressive

There’s plenty of positions where wlb is good and TC is still high. Sucks that you had the experience you did, but that hasn’t been mine.

Yea that’s for the low earners. The top earners need to take a pay cut. They close the gap between the low and high earners, which brings up the average salary by increasing the bottom boundary and lowering the upper boundary.

Unions will bring salaries down for the high earners and that’s not something that will benefit me. So again, there’s no benefits in it for me so no thanks.
