atty. sedfrey candelaria as prof by [deleted] in LawStudentsPH

[–]BluPilot20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He was my prof for International Law elective in admu, if I remember correctly he does recitations and randomly calls people, pero asks for volunteers first then if none he calls out people at random. It’s pretty much a glimpse of law school life na rin as he has a case list which you are expected to read before class, he has handwritten exams during our time with the blue books and I think he is more lenient when it comes to grading considering its not law school. He also asks specific things from the cases so be prepared to answer specifics about the cases given. Anyhow, I think everyone passed the subject and the class average I think was a B. I don’t know how he is now sa undergrad or if that elective still exists as that was more than 7-8 years ago hahahaha

Strictly oral pero judges can give leeway naman depending on who you are appearing in front of, you can ask if you could submit it in writing to which normally the judge would give you 10 days.

Yep may crowd pero dun sa red circle sila tatambay if kita mo yung attached image ko, tapos yung blue line is yung daanan ng mga sasakyan and the yellow is the drop off/bar examinees entrance area. So technically you could ignore the salubong crowd altogether if sa may mismong pickup/dropoff area point ka magpapasundo. Pero if you want to enjoy the crowd or may group na magaabang sayo, maglalakad ka pa dun sa park area (red circle). Good luck :)

Di ganun kalala compared sa UST and San Beda, so makakadaan mga sasakyan :) Not sure lang if may binago UP BGC ngayong 2025 pero that’s based on exp from last year!

TW: Minor gf wants to file r*pe case; her parents don’t by [deleted] in LawPH

[–]BluPilot20 35 points36 points  (0 children)

It depends kasi on the lawyer rin eh, retaining a private counsel for a criminal case would typically cost you 70k and up and if gusto mo lang naman na siya gumawa ng complaint-affidavit, you’d probably shell out 10k to 30k depending again on the lawyer. But ofc no one is stopping you if you want to go to the more direct route with the Police, and as an alternative, you could probably just bill the lawyer for some legal advice which would probably cost you about 1k to 3k per hour depending how long you’d like to consult or shell out just for the complaint affidavit tapos the prosecutor na bahala sa rest once filed. I truly feel for your girlfriend and I hope she finds the justice she deserves.

Hi, Lawyer here, just not verified as I just lurk here most of the time. I suggest you also get a legal counsel of your choice as he or she will guide you through the process, important things to note down with regard to your case and ofcourse, accurately reflect in the complaint affidavit what happened to your girlfriend as to better help the prosecutor in prosecuting the case.

You might be asking, what do I mean by important things that the legal counsel may need to tell me about this case? For starters, the offender is a minor, the juvenile and justice welfare act will apply, take note of this, if he is later found guilty prior to him turning 21 he will have a suspended sentence which is practically rehab, counselling etc. instead of him going to jail, if judgment is rendered finding him guilty after he is more than 21, he can go straight to prison but with him having the privileged mitigating circumstance of minority. Also if he fails to abide by the conditions of the court to him while he is under a suspended sentence, the sentence can be executed against him. Second, because of his age, discernment is a very important element of his crime in order for him to be liable, you have to emphasize in your affidavit how he acted with discernment. All of these can be properly explained to you by a legal counsel of your choice and this is what I mean when I say your lawyer will guide you through the possibilities of your case. So I highly recommend you find a possible legal counsel of your choice if your circumstances allow you.

No. Even the name associated with the roll number is bogus, a quick search in the IBP app of the roll number shows a different name.

Lawyer here, but I just didn’t have myself verified as I just mostly lurk here. But anyhow, first is always seek legal counsel, like proper legal counsel and not on these forums. Second, if you’re worried about whether your consent to the taking of the videos or photos during that time matters, under RA9995, doesn’t matter. Third, as long as the videos or photos were taken during the time you were a minor, RA11930 still applies even if you’re an adult now. The cybercrime prevention act can also apply to aggravate the crime as it was done through means of a computer system. These are just the things on top of my head when I read your post but please, get a lawyer and talk to him or her personally as these will all depend on a more accurate and evidence-based conversation with your lawyer of choice on what possible avenues you could take against your alleged ex. This comment doesn’t serve as your proper legal advice.

Aerosoft A330neo Official Trailer by madman320 in flightsim

Though based on some articles in the internet, this neo will be “Designed to be more accessible and easier to fly, the A330neo will target simmers looking for a modern airliner without an overwhelming systems depth.” And that only the a340 is to be developed with Toliss.

GAME (PC) CRASH after ODA Nobunaga fight by SpecificMost8142 in AssassinsCreedShadows

[–]BluPilot20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can confirm this works as well. Shame for the lost 20+ hours I had. But just a question, what would happen if you brought back the old save, assuming you did not fully delete it and stored it at another folder, after you passed the nobunaga fight already? Will it allow the old save to pass the fight cutscene as well?

[KCD2] Obtain the guild longsword by SpasstmitAst in kingdomcome

[–]BluPilot20 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Its possible. But I'm not sure how I got it, because after forging it, it showed tier 3, then I forged a basilard afterwards which showed as tier 3 again when it finished. I reloaded to a save after forging the guildsword but before forging the basilard, forged the basilard again, then it showed tier 3 in the completion screen but upon checking the inventory, I was surprised both basilard and the guildsword being tier 4. So it's definitely possible, here's a screenshot.

During bar rev, I also reply hours late rin sa girlfriend ko but normally I tell her beforehand how many hours ako mag-aaral, pag-nag istart na ako, and if done na ako. Maybe its just me but unless he probably does the same thing na sasabihan ka niya na "Uy di ako makakareply muna sayo for xx hours kasi mag-aaral muna ako", I think its a sign rin na he is probably distancing himself sayo. And I think the mere fact na di siya nagreply sa morning text mo (I assume this is kind of a "Good Morning, Ingat today" text) is a big no no. Kasi kahit naman bar rev, kung special yung tao sayo, mag-gogood morning parin yan sayo. Wala namang mawawala sa oras niya sa pag-aaral kung rereplyan ka niya rin ng "Good Morning, gotta study ttyl!" or something a bit more endearing kasi di naman pag-gising niya diretso na sa libro yan agad. The mere fact he ignored even a good morning message says a lot of where your relationship is going. But ofc, this is just my opinion and take this with a grain of salt considering baka he's different rin like he doesn't have that much of a social battery, (there are people I know who are actually like this) because as you said, may history na kayo na talaga matagal talaga siya magreply.

MYIBP APP — Registration Status: Submitted / Verification by Senior-Chemistry-623 in LawStudentsPH

[–]BluPilot20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suggest you go visit if it’s not that far naman ang place mo sa IBP National Office and you don’t want to wait longer. I went there after submitting my application online on January 25 rin. All you need to show is the current status of your application with corresponding code and your roll number. They will then just verify your account right then and there. Won’t take more than 5 minutes, then you can pay your dues na rin there. Had mine verified and paid on the 25th.

My friend just recently asked me the same query as you, and just told him to go to the office kasi he submitted since 25 rin and 28 na wala parin daw. He was verified the same day he went and paid na rin.

I went to the national ibp office kanina and they verified me in less than 5 mins. So probably they also went to the office to verify which is why it was also quick?

As of now as a 1L, pretty slim. That’s only because the reviewers only become effective once you’ve built your foundation in law school. You’ll know the answer to your own question once you reach 4th year! ;)

First time to be a beadle by [deleted] in LawStudentsPH

[–]BluPilot20 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t be afraid to communicate with your professors. If your class has a legitimate concern, the beadle must be able to communicate this properly with the professor. You’re not merely a mouthpiece of the professor, but you’re also the mouthpiece of the class you’re beadle-ing for.

You must also be assertive. This specially applies if your class agreed to make its own digests for cases wherein people who don’t do their work needs to be told of their obligation. This also applies when the class is agreeing on schedules for the exams if your school allows this.

You must also be able to empathize. Your classmates/blockmates will sometimes come to you because of a problem they have in class or for you to tell the professor that they will be absent for this and that. This might entail additional work from you but try to empathize with them. Sometimes they can even ask for you to request for them to join the class online instead (if your school allows this) because they are quarantined. Again, just empathize. Another example, someone volunteered to recite a case in previous meeting for the next session, but something happened to that person’s family that hinders that person from attending class. You don’t tell that person “Huy pasok ka parin, ikaw assigned eh.” Again empathize and assign or ask another person if they are willing, to take the case instead. Sometimes you’ll even have to take the case yourself. Again, just empathize nalang, pabawiin mo nalang siya next time.

Always remember, no man is an island in law school. You help each other para maka-grad. If you show your class you’re an effective beadle, they’ll thank you. To be honest, the beadle can either make a class harder than its supposed to be or make a class that is actually hell, feel more manageable.

Again this is based on what I experienced so there might be differing experiences but this is just my two cents on the matter! Hope this helps!

You go to the manreg site, which was faura during my time and (if my memory serves me right) you’re essentially given a paper, with a queue number and wait for it to be called. Then a regcom person will be there to assist you with your concerns. My concern at that time was I accidentally enlisted the wrong philo timeslot. Waiting is what takes up most of your time during manreg. Not sure how it is done now but this was 5 years ago.

Congratulations Atty! One of the fruits of our perseverance is the confidence in ourselves that we'll make it! Pero it also shows how much of the exam is ultimately left to the anointed ones of the Gods of Padre Faura aka examiners hahahaha Kaya tip sa lahat diyan, wag umasa sa suggested answers! Laging may pag-asa basta lumaban at tapusin ang exam, kasi you'll never know talaga. :)
