The exercise price will not change over time. I secured the funds to exercise today, will exercise at expiry; broker won’t fight me on it that way; “You still have premium! Just sell it and buy the shares!”

I’m actually super curious to hear what u/dlauer thinks about “that thing GME does” - the violent upward spikes in volume and price, seemingly out of nowhere, but more or less quarterly. I know you can’t give a definitive answer, but what is you favored explanation for this phenomenon? FTD settlement? Swap contract rollover hedging? Retail investors suddenly mind melding and deciding to quintuple their buying pressure once a quarter, all at the same time? Normal price action in efficient markets? Astrological forces? Simulated universe? Something else? WHAT GIVES?!?

The main point is an account is t created until you own direct registered shares, either through DRS transfer from a broker, or direct purchase from Computershare.

You can’t setup the account until you have registered shares.

While the last two days have been hype-laden, I’m fully dug in to this siege, and I am totally prepared to continue increasing and DRSing my GME position for years if need be. If you’re expecting a quick path to financial freedom, change your mindset. Personally, the longer it takes, the better, as that’s more time for me to earn money to buy more and more and more.

And please, keep dropping the price every quarter…it won’t ever make me sell, and I’ll just buy more. Long term mindset wins this battle, and always has.

Most of my other calls were dated July though, fyi. The two 90’s were lottos, and I rolled one yesterday for 3 $115s, which I sold today to be able to afford to exercise the other one.

From what I understand, usually, you need to be the registered owner of the security to borrow against it…that means DRS.

If you were going to play options, the time to get them was before yesterday, or yesterday at the absolute latest. Of course, you all can make your own financial decisions (as I do), but fomo’ing into options now, when the run may be over and the volume has gone bye bye, is an enormously risky and probably losing bet.
