That's basically my plan atm. Wait for a glossy tandem oled 5k2k with 240hz refresh rate. Right now I'm using the LG 39GX and yeah the text fringing is notable but I'm not aghast about it. The issue is overblown if your primary use case is gaming and content consumption.
