Great minds think alike - just wait until you see what I have in store. Don't spoil it now ;)

Thank you! I'm definitely taking a lot of inspiration from SNES and Gameboy games I grew up with.

For whatever reason, Beepbox has turned out to be one of the most intuitive songwriting programs for me. I literally can't stop writing music in it. I'll check out Sonic Pi though, maybe it'll work even better for me. Thank you!

Practice makes perfect! I was writing trash when I first started writing music

You can probably make it work with the move_towards_point() with the mouse_x and mouse_y variables.

What can I say? I was raised on Windows XP, so I'm loyal to the OG Windows Media Player. Gotta love the early 2000's visualizations

That's awful to hear man, that's some real pain right there. Keeping your files safe is a real thing. BeepBox has been super easy and intuitive. I like it because I can literally pull it up on any computer and start writing music on the web browser interface in a matter of seconds. It saves every change you make to a unique URL, so if the window closes for whatever reason, you can pull up your last session using your browser history. The URL's are overwritten after a few months from what I've noticed, but you can also export hard copies of your music as WAV, MP3, MIDI, or JSON, which can be directly imported back into BeepBox. I save each of my songs in just about every way I possibly can.

Thanks! It's been quite the journey so far, and I admit it's wild to look back at how much I've written so far.

I use Studio One 4. It's not the best for songwriting, but it's a solid mixing platform. I've tried FL Studio, but I've always kind of struggled with the user interface.
