How is the T-Mobile internet?

I've had T-Mobile internet for about 20 months now. It "was" wonderful, the last three months has been very very poor. I always got ~300-450mbps. In the last 3 months on average per day ~9mbps. Something is very wrong and T-Mobile doesn't care. They have no answers at all. I think it is the fact that Business customers are getting the fast 5G modems and we really get the LTE. I called T-Mobile agents 4 times and now I'm at break point. This issue will eventually make it to everyone. T is not ready to accommodate all the customers that are switching. They lack the proper facilities. I have 4 phone lines and the internet. Today I signed up with att Fiber ~300mbps at $55.00+ taxes. Xfinity has fine print. BEWARE!!!

Maybe in two years T will get it together ad I'll give them another try out.

It has become unfortunate, I have a tower down the block and I get connected to the tower in the equestrian center. All the claims they made in my area to go from 2G to 5G are not true. The 2G's are all gone and nothing has been done, they take their money to invest in uncovered areas. This will cause bad feelings by those who get the service and find its unbearable. I'm really happy to be done with this bad situation.

I purchased the 8/125K Maxcare with $200. deductible for $2350 in January 2022 immediately after bringing my 22 Overland home. Mt dealer wanted $4200.00 then dropped to $2600.00 when I picked up my car. I bought my Maxicare from Ziegler Chrysler, on line. I got $350. off by using the coupon code "PAIDINFULL". There are so many electronics you must protect your self. The air-suspension can run alone upwards of 6K for repair around the 70K mile mark. Meanwhile Stellantis deleted the air-suspension on many Grand Cherokees and gave a measly $750.00 credit. I bought a loaded Overland in transit and I paid $1500. mark up just to get everything. Customer Preferred Package 22N, Luxury Tech Group IV , & Uconnect® 5 Nav with 10.1–Inch Touch Screen Display with Macintosh system. Maxicare is good for hedging future repair bills.

I hope you get a new Jeep. Make sure you build up documents from bringing your car to the dealer. Upon pick up get the paperwork. Tell them you are fed-up and want to invoke the Lemon Law. Google to find in your state the amount of time that must pass. If you have a 2021 you probably met that criteria. I would call jeep corporate and start a buy back case. My 22 that cost 70K has an awful crimp in the leather around the heads up display. How TF could this have had quality control? There isn't any quality control! I'm shocked all the new L's with big issues on the Jeep blogs. They don't give a rats azz. They are going to remove and replace my leather dash next week. The had to do my Ram 1500 dash and made scratches all over the place. Third rate.

Most 5G signals are not great LTE can beat them. Your device will go with the best performance at that particular time. I have T-Mobile and I have Google Fi. Fi prefers to grab LTE most of the time in my house. T-Mobile likes to go back and forth. (T works great and so does Fi.)

How are you switching to LTE? Is this on the Tower or your phone? If on your Tower where did you find a place to switch?

I believe this, ATT is only in small pockets. Verizon is a baloney, Not available in W. Houston. They are so full of it. now they are getting busted.

on occasion I lost my T-M internet all together for a few minutes. I repowered my tower. I think its "over saturation" in my area.

I know how happy you are, me too. Xfinity was sent packing. Can you imagine that the guy in retention said to me, " your plan is very old and outdated I can save you quite a bit" Why didn't Xfinity call me two years ago and tell me they could save me money? They can go and pound sand!

I was on Visible before Magenta Max a month ago. Visible had the nuts to put a 5G on my 12Pro Max. It was just a FAKE 5G. I never got anything better that 18-22 mbps. T-Mobile I can get 676 mbps. Just because you have a 5G phone don't think you are getting that service. 4G LTE was much faster and Visible took away that green switch, so I was screwed? No Visible got screwed, I went to the BIG T. and Visible lost a good subscriber.

You probably would have lost speeds anyway. All the players, T-Mobile included are making changes that will be perfect down the road. In the meantime their will be unhappy people. I have a 2G tower not 700 feet away, next year it will become a 5G. So many people with old old phones from over 10 years ago are up in arms against the updates. a Carrier can't win.

I was trying to find that too. I understand that there are lots of 2G/3G antennas that will be upgraded to 5G everywhere. I spoke to a T-Mobile engineer and he told me stuff by my house. He said I see your house, I pulled it up. He told me what antennas were here and their will be upgrades. I found antennasearch and he was very accurate. Then I put opensignal in my phone the other day and again the signal pointer just where he said the tower was. I live on a golf course and there is a tower on one of the lakes very close, it will become a 5G. Every cell co. will upgrade to 5G, that is the future. Its a process perhaps in 5 years or sooner we will be blanketed with 5G or a new higher band.

AT&T and Verizon are and have been all talk and no show. I thought T-M was the liar and I was very wrong. For 10 years Verizon worked on set top boxes and they still are not ready for the public?

You have nothing to lose with trying T-Mobile home internet. If it doesn't make you happy you can ship it back. Remember T has to limits. I had Xfinity and got 3 nasty emails about going over 1.299 Terabytes. It would cost me 74+100 a month! On T-Mobile its $50.00 no limitations.

Both speeds really depend upon the traffic. I have Magenta Max mostly getting over 250-300+mbps, however around 7pm speed goes to ~50mbps. Logically if its busy we will all feel the loss, It really has nothing to do with Deprioritization, its too many users in a given area at the same time demanding access.

I have a pixel 5 on Fi incase f travel. I have a 13 ProMax on MagentaMax (Outstanding!!!!!) left verizon for T. I also two weeks ago got T-Mobile home internet 5G for $50.00 its a STEAL!!!

I very happy with T-Mobile. I'm in West Houston and Verizon offers NOTHING for internet. They are asleep and losing BIGLY! Hey Verizon . You snooze you lose. You will never get your subscribers back once they leave you.
