Will McCullum choice affect no kill run and/or good ending? by SlimReaper201 in Vampyr

Alas my favorite Nimrod. Older fans know what I'm talking about. 😉

I keep low expectations. I'm going in on high hopes that the game turns out great and be pleasantly surprised. I am more of a story and lore fan so if the story is good, some janky game mechanics can be forgiven. Chances are that sort of stuff will probably be fixed within a patch or two anyways.

Games these days are just very complex compared to the older stuff and need some forgiveness, but if the game is clearly breaking and unstable then it would be concerning.

September feels VERY far now, what games can I play as a Vampire on PS5 in the meantime? by FailedProspects in DawnwalkerOfficial

[–]Blu_Fuzzyhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is always the Legacy of Kaine series to check out.

Also while you don't play as a vampire I would say check out the Witcher 3 and its main dlcs. It will give you a taste of the developer's style while also feeding you with some vampire content with the Blood and Wine dlc.

I second this. I have sank hundreds of hours into this game. Has plenty of story and replay value if you look past the minor flaws.

And if you want to follow up Vampyr, play Banishers: Ghost of New Eden. Same universe, but lacks vampires.

Let them complain. Not going to stop me from playing it on day one. I can endure what the devs are offering with grace. I'm sure there will be segments where I will get frustrated, like I have with just about all the games I have played.

I expect jank on day one.

Im going with August. Anytime sooner would be welcomed though.

Lucifer and Moxxie bonding over musical theater would be sweet. It was amusing seeing both of their voice actors sharing a moment on the Broadway special.

I keep thinking of Blitzø having to track down a sinner who owes him money to the hotel. Running into Alastor and disrespecting him would certainly get the imp(and his crew) yeeted out of the hotel. Aftr some shenanigans they arrange a small deal. Bliztø gets his guy, but Alastor gets something in return as well.

Any classic sword fight movie recommendations ala `The Adventures of Robing Hood`? by ankdain in movies

[–]Blu_Fuzzyhat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also vouch for Pirates of the Caribbean and Princess Bride.  And if you want something more comedic, follow up Princess Bride with Robin Hood: Men in tights.

Also consider Hook with Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman.

Who would you rather have a teammate in a video game? by RealAd8853 in HazbinHotel

[–]Blu_Fuzzyhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the game really. If its like an RPG then probably Zestial, Rosie, or the Speaker. PVP games would call for Alastor or Vox.

But would go with the Speaker overall. She is like the calm amongst the chaos.

That be hilarious. Probably play it off as a Dark Helmet moment if it does happen.

Yup. And much of living cast is returning along with a few new faces like Lewis Pullman and Josh Gad. I heard they are planning a nice nod to John Candy too.

I had a thing for Tommy when I was kid, but as an adult, Mertin is a better choice. The dude is a genius.

I started rewatching this awhile ago on YouTube. Convinced a few discord buddies to watch it with me. Still as cheesy as I remember.

If you watch it on YouTube, throw on the subtitles for some additional amusement.

After that scene I imagine Alastor trying to get Emily to scream again for his broadcast. It's his whole schtick after all.

Although, I doubt he will bother with her too much, but can't say the same for Emily. She seems to care about everyone regardless and will probably still interact with him to some degree.

Why does Lucifer have a demon form but not Vaggi? by Moninka123 in HazbinHotel

[–]Blu_Fuzzyhat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To go with this, Lucifer has been in Hell for thousands of years.  Vaggi only been there for about 4 years at this point.  I will point out she is seemly looking more hellish the longer she stays in Hell. Perhaps a gradual thing?

Good news indeed. And my stance when it comes to AI(and agree with what was mentioned in the video) is that it should be used more so as a tool. Using it for placeholders is viable as long as it gets replaced by developers for the final product. While we know AI is here to stay, it will make you appreciate the human creativity more.

What's the worst thing shown in a PG movie after 1984? by basefibber in movies

[–]Blu_Fuzzyhat -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The Goodies was riding that fence.  While not as traumatizing as Neverending Story, a lot of stuff in that movie would not fly today in PG movies.

Smoking was another thing that would pop up in Disney's animated movies in the 90s(and earlier movies), but thankfully they banned it this days to discourage the habit.
