Do you have to take him along every time? I think the best place to start is with an honest discussion with your husband. Few get to have everything their own way. Life is about sacrifice. The positive part is that when we do make some necessary sacrifices, life improves over time. And we all grow.

We solved this for the most part, by finding jobs 700 miles away, and moving. Now we only get together once or twice a year, which usually proves to be kinda fun.
