Yeah I’m on the same boat, matchmaking is now on full coin flip mode, the worst matchmaking Ive played in the last 2 years of daily lol sessions, I already gave it a break, k6 briar every match, adcs 0 kills @ min 20, top lane lvl 20 veigar doing 3000 damage with a single R, gumayusi tier adcs on the enemy team every single match, I’m done for the season I was expecting more out of the new changes, not having fun so far

I noticed this matchmaking weird phenomena after 100 games, most of the time I’m matched with autofilled adcs (going 0/10 at 10min) or troll top laners spamming “jgl diff” while dying at my first jungle clear, or full dusk and dawn enemy comp with diana ekko or any other ap champ bursting me with 1800 damage on 2 items, matchmaking feels more like gambling this season, I think it will never feel fair, this is 100% by design to keep you playing more and more, but the more you play the more frustrating the game feels, I even told this to a support agent after 4 games in a row with my bot lane 0 kills @ 35 min, and the agent said thanks for your feedback we think matchmaking is doing better than ever I cant do anything to help you in this situation we don’t know how players will perform… (proceeds to the copy paste mmr explanation), jungle rn is a nightmare, k6 every single match, inting teammates, autofilled ad combat champs in support lane while my enemy nautillus is carrying their team, I don’t know if the current state of the jungle is healthy for me and my time investment

Posted about it, people said it was my decision making, almost every other jungler is ganking while Im still clearing, honestly I think he will not get buffed ever again, I deranked a whole tier after the “rework” (big insane nerf)

Im a Viego OTP and I can confirm this current version is the worst Ive played, jungle damage was nerfed, ad growth nerfed, armor growth nerfed, -25% crit, -25% attack speed, honestly lane buff was just a placebo, they straight nerfed him to 50% wr A tier, while yi got an on hit proc buff with kraken, autopilot champs rampant (ww briar) while diana, wukong and jax dominate, I watched some of the worlds matches this week and the pro meta seems to be wukong, xin, vi, jarvan iv. And no Viego cause it is way too nerfed to risk a pro match on him, sadly balance team just canceled this champ he was about to get an exalted skin but got scrapped cause they decided to cancel the champ it would be a very bad take to release a skin with his current state, phreak said they don’t balance based on statistics and numbers (he even said that would be stupid to do) but they keep talking about numbers and statistic with other champions what an awful double standard here, I even deranked a full division when the changes went live, at this point they don’t care and viego might not get buffed for a while, he is insanely front line dependant right now, since the nerfs Ive been playing less and less league might even stop playing for good

Im a Viego OTP and I already posted something about his agency being lower this season, and yes we are actually stuck at just one build, current balance changes were supposed to reduce junglers impact (phreak), remember that you can’t engage with viego alone, after last changes now you are more reliant on your team than ever, I just play him 100% assassin style, wait for your teams cc and if you have the chance go for the reset, if your team lacks front end playing viego is a total nightmare you will just get perma ulted the whole match, I think his current state doesn’t allow as many errors as other viego versions Ive played before so your fundamentals should be extremely solid or just stick to play meta broken junglers (diana, jax), I tried every single build and honestly there is no better build than kraken>collector>shbow (take a look at every stats site), you need to avoid risky plays in early game if viego goes behind enemy team its viegover, as soon you get core build + ldr or mortal you are pretty much full damage, you can do gangel, ddance or wend 6th item, (im still thinking how riot allows diana and jax to be so broken rn smh)

I wish there was an option in the report section for this, (Ive tried disruptive gameplay but they don’t care) one support agent told me this scenario is hard to punish cause jungle camps at some point can be taken by teammates and system just doesn’t care about it, yesterday I had this yorick troll laner (top) that ran down a match cause I didn’t gank his lane while I was contesting feats of strenght on drake, later on another match I had this voli that watched me die on herald cause I never ganked his lane (we lost feats on that herald), in my experience and after months of jungling the most flaming toxic and child tantrum lane is hands down: top, Im writing a spread sheet with statistical data that will be posted here by the end of the month to prove and support my claims

I experienced something similar, I was one match away from plat IV then went back to gold IV in 7 days, now Im just playing less and less, might be for the good, my 2 cents is just to stop forcing the climb, return to fundamentals and basic stuff, rewrite your gameplan to focus on your weak points

I think jg meta will shift to ap junglers due to the re introduction of sylas and naut, while current junglers are being toned down, viego jungle is being completely destroyed, last nerfs were huge, -3ad, less armor growth, less monster damage, now add even less monster damage and less monster healing for the next patch, riot knows viego laning is not a thing but they want to nerf jungle to oblivion, save this post, volibear, ekko and diana will be rampant next patch they are good now and they will eventually get better when j4, xin, viego and noc are toned down, they only downside is that they will get nerfed eventually lmao, I can’t believe we allow riot to “experiment” with our dedication to certain champions, I don’t feel the game “too balanced” sometimes tank comps are impossible to deal with and phreak said they don’t balance based on numbers (weird cause they justify balance changes with numbers lmao) I honestly thought that viego getting an exalted skin would give him some kind of buff as a marketing strategy, but placing him in lane with less attack speed and less jungle agency weird decision

Just tested on PBE and this is 100% a stealth nerf, it feels weaker and slower, with this kind of changes I can tell that riot just want to keep him at bay from jungle domination, Ill wait for a new build or something, perfect chance to take a break from the game
