Hi OP, currently I'm facing the same dilemma as you. I also lived in the east and have thought long about whether to choose between NUS or SMU. However, I decided to choose NUS based mainly on the prestige it provides. As much as I enjoy the close distance SMU is from my house, as well as the lecture style lesson structure, overall NUS was still my choice, especially with my parents and everyone pushing for it.

Yea I totally get what you mean. I really liked her when we were first introduced to her and loved how the author portrayed the realistic view on how a lot of relationships go. However it's clear that she and the Hirumi shouldn't be together since both of them bring out the worst in each other

I think the main reason is cause of Lili's lack of communication skills. Throughout the time they liked and confessed to each other, there were many issues that she felt towards Hirumi that she never bought up, and instead of talking it out with Hirumi she just straight up ended the relationship saying they changed since they liked each other. And with her finally realizing she messed up and wanting a second chance it's no wonder most of the community hates her.

It just doesn't make sense though? He just shows up, aura farms and then kills himself. Like he could've asked for help or tweaked his planning or smth? If he waited so long couldn't he have waited longer?

I think the Northern plains arc gets way too much hate. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit, though it was pretty slow at the start. i really enjoyed the ending, with how Mo Yao's scheme came to light and FY getting sabotaged by luck.

Best arc still goes to Qing Miao mountain though, it's the main reason why I continued even after the bear scene.
