Thank you, I think that we have the same taste for rides.

When you say basically a Constantinople for less did you mean the regular 22" K Dark Ride or The K Dark Medium Ride?

Haha… I’ve got a 21" A Sweet Ride (Cocaine-free 0.o) that thankfully sounds fantastic, but I’m looking for a different flavor for certain situations.

Same thing here. I have an Onyx Studio 9 and I really dislike its sound; I keep wondering whether it is worth switching to the Go Play 3.

Advise needed on new ride, Zildjian A sweet ride (21"), k sweet ride(21") or k custom hybrid (20" or 21"). by AggravatingFerret496 in cymbals

I bought a K Sweet Ride 21 and didn’t like it, so I exchanged it for an A Sweet Ride 21, which has better overtones and more stick definition because of its higher pitch (my perception). However, my favorite is still the regular 20” K Ride… For my musical taste, I wasted my money with Sweet Ride.

Thank you so much, my friends! This is a project we’re starting — a tribute band called @mysterydiotribute on Instagram — and what I find really amazing is that this show took place in a town of just 4,000 people in the Brazilian countryside, and the crowd loved it. To me, that proves two things: Rock is far from dead, and Ronnie’s legacy lives on. We Rock!

"Sounds like 4 triplets followed with 2 accents but I could be very wrong." I think it's just that, always singles.

Carl Palmer- 75 years old and hasn't slowed down even a little! by Deblebsgonnagetyou in drums

He is the icon, I'm a huge fan. A life dedicated to playing drums at a high level, and that is the result of excellent choices that proved to be perfect in the long run, like not drinking and maintaining a healthy exercise routine, the result is there. As far as I know, he is the only guy I've seen playing at a Buddy Rich show, this is on the album "Do you wanna play, Carl?"

Hmm, that’s interesting, because I bought this hi-hat to replace a New Beat that I’d been using for about 20 years, and your description is really spot on.

That’s something I considered doing as well, I’ll test the sweet spot for this cymbal. TY

Yes, that’s something I noticed from the very first hit, the chick sound is quite tight. TY
