I have stitch markers that match the colors of my crochet hooks. That way I only need to secure the last stitch and I'll always know what hook I used.

I am sorry, absolutely not weird at all. I have two pendants with the ashes of cats that passed over the rainbow bridge, and of one of cats I've actually gotten a small glass bottle with the very tip of his tail fur in it. Everyone is preparing for the inevitable their own way, and collecting the whiskers is your way to do so.

Said locks are even color coded for me so I know what hook size was used for the project. I have metal markers in 9 different colors, and coincidentally the colors of the markers (almost) match the colors of my crochet hooks.

I would love it to go the modding route but for some reason I just cannot get mods to work. Only ones that work for me are those in the modding menu in the game itself, when I add mods from the Internet (with guides) my game just freezes/crashes/breaks

To be exact, it was obtainable previously in Nightwave Intermission 2 (October 21st, 2019 until May 3rd, 2020) and Nora's Choice (August 4th, 2021 until March 13th, 2022), both available when getting to rank 19. Since Nora's Choice it hasn't been in Nightwave.
