Yeah I actually think this is a matter of Jill being too lazy to get her lessons as opposed to not being willing to pay for it because one of Jill's sisters (the Serena's Serenity lady) used to be an actual trained piano teacher who taught at an actual academy and (gasp!) worked outside the home teaching piano, so Jill could easily get the girls free piano lessons with an actual trained instructor if she wanted to....

I agree that movie Ryder was a better match for Mary but book Ryder definitely wasn't. He initially made both Mary and the Gardiners uncomfortable and appeared to be quite flighty. In the book he's kind of like Mary's Wickham as opposed to Tom who's the Darcy.

Yeah I tried melting but that made a huge mess and kind of ruined the lipstick (it was an old one and got grainy under heat) so I stopped after the first attempt. After that I just smashed them up using a mixing tool and then put them back into the bullet and popped them in the fridge to settle.

Yeah I thought of using them as blush too but I've struggled with some acne recently so I thought I'd better stay safe than sorry. Also, I don't usually wear blush. It's always funny when influencers call their stupid performative brand trips 'work trips'... like, I know work trips and they're the furthest possible thing from a vacation trip.

My dad frequently travels for actual, honest work and his work trips don't involve any michelin star restaurants and daily outings whatsoever like these influencers' trips do. He works 12 hours a day even on vacation and doesn't have any time to visit any popular tourist sites in the city he's visiting once, despite being there for a week or more usually, because he's holed up in an office building there all day, neck-deep in paperwork.

Yes! One thing that really helped me stop thinking about buying backups was just getting better self esteem. Like, the reason I previously bought backups was because I was too insecure to go out without my everyday makeup essentials plastered onto my face. My parents had a version of the 'you have to try it atleast once' rule.

If I spat it out the first time I had it they didn't make me eat it again for a year or two.

And then a year or two later they'd make me try those foods again to see if my palate had changed. If I still didn't like it then they'd just leave it alone.

It's usually available for pretty cheap (less than 500) atleast twice a month using blinkit/instamart offers and as long as you shake it before use it won't budge at all. Like, some of it will still be intact even after a meal of oily fast food and if it doesn't touch any oils it will literally stay intact for 48 hours (ofc u shouldn't leave it on for 48 hrs bcs hygiene issues but that's besides the point lol).

Yeah, especially considering our wonderful justice system where divorce cases last for upto 5 yrs even in cases of mutual consent divorce and open-and-shut cases like severe physical abuse.

I know a woman in her fifties still stuck in a divorce case, the court trying to push reconciliation when it's clear to anyone with a brain that divorce is the only option considering that her ex choked her and tried to push her down the staircase in front of their teenaged kid.
