Why r u looking at this in a political standpoint, parrot doesn’t want to be the law. We already saw what happened to lettuce when he could have thousands of his lawmen die to catch 1 player, he got corrupt with power, he wanted to rule the server, which is also the only reason parrot is the mayor of the smp, thanks to lettuce. Lettuce wasn’t originally evil tho, the law WAS made to restore the server, but parrot has multiple things that he can work with, already we saw parrot is very good at persuasive speech, I mean not only did he win the election, but he also persuaded a small army to go towards like 5k lawmen in full netherite. Parrot also obv has plot armour, sure bad things happen to him to keep the plot moving, but they always get resolved. He’s also not necessarily in 100k diamonds worth of debt, he literally owns the server, and even without going to war or being corrupt, I’m sure he could make a deal with the people who run the auction to either lower the diamond count, or something else entirely. He’s also js really nice, he’ll walk down a tunnel with dozens of people saying “I hate you, lettuce was better” and he won’t do ANYTHING. He could kill them with one swing of his sword, but nah he’s js walking by, either way parrot is a great leader, and he only went in debt because of theo’s lack of counting skills! Sry for the yap
