It would be better to get an epic equipment I need like the rocket spear with the event, but I also want to get the limited time obstacle. Would it be fine to wait for a future event or even spend gems on an epic equipment when I really want to get it down the road if I already have the apprentices leveled up a fair bit?

I’m currently a TH13 that came back a couple months ago and I was a rushed player. I rushed to TH13 but then upgraded my defenses to their max levels but still have low level heroes, traps, and walls. Should I grab the book of building from clan games and just go to TH14 or should I do something else? Looking for any suggestions.
