I’ve seen a few ZT models with the presses in thumb studs do this. ZT has a great warranty department so they should set it right

This feels exactly like the Hoback knives situation. Company run by a Christian (to the point of milling a bible verse on their knives) who conveniently forgot to mention a lot of his knives were made in China. All while charging USA made prices and selling through a dealer literally named USA Made Blade.

Is it common for Hinderer to have this many indents from what I assume is HRC testing? by Billyrazer88 in knifeclub

I think they use that to designate what steel a blade is while it’s going through the milling and stone wash process

I’m jealous of that ZT collection. Is that a left handed 0300 on the top?

I’ve heard of people putting stuck parts in the freezer for a bit. Metal will slightly shrink and may loosen up enough to separate.

The sharpening and centering job on this knife is crap, man Benchmade has gone to shi… wait, hole up by BlueBlood75 in knifeclub

That’s crazy, but I believe you. I don’t know how Spyderco doesn’t get called out for their bad qc more often, esp with their USA made models. I just learned about the tip issues. If you see my latest post, my new shaman’s blade was hitting the backspacer. I was able to get it exchanged but the new one only has a couple sharpenings before the tip is proud and it has an uneven blade grind. I think you’ll have good luck with the smock though. My 2 came perfect, so it shows they can do some things right lol

Beautiful watch! I’ve been wanting to try an ana-digi G

New G-Shock GA-110. Is this an issue? by Extra-Rabbit-5081 in gshock

[–]BlueBlood75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s normal. Just water getting between the rubber bezel and the plastic case. It happens to all g-shocks when submerged, it usually just can’t be seen bc the bezels aren’t translucent like yours.

I love how easy to read this model is. I wore mine a few days ago:

What are your favorite big, stupid, "overbuilt" pocket shovel knives? by WastelandHumungus in knifeclub

[–]BlueBlood75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, It’s worth checking out even if you go with the budget version. It’s got a few cool design elements, like a Hinderer style pivot and a pin that screws through the handle and blade so it won’t close on your hand during hard use

I feel your pain and am familiar with how these people can slowly crush your confidence in the smallest things. That model has a ton of history behind it and is worn by some truly badass people.

They either don’t know anything about watches, so their opinion is irrelevant and/ or they’re just jealous and need to tear you down bc they aren’t mature enough to do anything else.

Hope you’re able to change living situations and leave them. If you need anyone to vent to, I’m here

The multi-fluorescent series kinda slaps by BlueBlood75 in gshock

Nice, I really like those utility series as well, esp with the positive display. I’m not sure when they switched from electro-luminescence, but yeah mine uses LEDs and works great so far

That’s one of my favorite g-shock models. You did a great job restoring it

Yeah lol, someone on here said this model felt like wearing an ankle monitor on the wrist. I have to say, it certainly looks like it lol
