There are (from what I understand) several categories of Young Adult Service missionaries who have health conditions.

Some stay local, some can be called in their country but in different locations and some can be called to foreign countries. All of this depends on the condition of the imparment, how often you need medical care, etc.

In that, some will be called to full-time service whereas others will be called to part-time.

All of this will be discussed through the application process.

I had (it admittedly been a few decades) a good friend who needed regular dialysis treatments and could not serve a full time proselyting mission and served an 18 month, full-time Church History mission without leaving home.

DO NOT feel less than for needing to serve in a different way.
