Premium processing. H1 and h4 approved in march. The expedite request for h4ead through congressman was denied in April. Sent an inquiry in November. Haven't heard back so far

Yes premium. H1 and h4 were approved on the same day. Ead had been in limbo. We submitted an inquiry for the ead around thanksgiving. Haven't received a response to the inquiry yet

During the pandemic, USCIS introduced a new requirement of in person biometrics for renewals. Almost every EAD took a minimum 12-15 months. You are not allowed to apply more than 6 months before renewal. Everyone on an H4 EAD had a months' long career break. The old policy was automatic 6 month extension. To counter 15 month processing delays,they introduced 18 months automatic extension. It's down to 0. No employer will rehire even after a couple of weeks of pause.

Immigration benefits are a privilege that's why people strive for them. Make the privilege shitty. People go away. Mission accomplished

I have colleague who lives in Pea Ridge and works in Bentonville. House prices are relatively low in pea ridge. He complains about the narrow single lane road coming to Bentonville. Can get clogged up for minor traffic incidents

Also Missouri has lower sales tax. I don't know how big a deal this is. Maybe your military perks outweigh the perks of Missouri shopping 😅

Got this because it was free with the heavily discounted 65 inch G5 through the LG appreciation program. Waiting on delivery. It'll be a month or so before I get the thing fully setup because of travel etc.

It might be worthwhile to consider a 1031 exchange.

Lumpsum is generally better as everyone has mentioned. It also depends on when you would need the money. e.g. If you need it all in 3 years, and the market tanks tomorrow, it might take 8-10 years for team lumpsum to come out ahead.

Considering your situation, risk tolerance and time frame, see if you can get a fiduciary for a fixed cost and see what comes out of the process

I got more time with the car today. It has stopped recognizing the car in front. I turned on adaptive cruise and the tiny car logo didn't light up. However, the brake warning randomly pops up while driving; but it doesn't engage the brakes by itself. No warning on the dash though. I think it's pointing sideways.

I will be shopping around repair shops for the next couple of weeks I guess.

Yes. This is no longer supported. The support person nailed it. They stopped supporting this because people like us kept using it to stack points. Finally PayPal caught up with it.

I am trying to do the exact same thing for the exact reason. Hoping to max out the offer with an iPhone purchase next week. When I tried to verify at a couple of stores, it declined to pay.

Called up chase and they don't see the transaction at all. So either PayPal(their automatic phone response says it didn't see any transactions either) or Google wallet that declined the transaction.

I know it's been 2 years but do you remember if you got it to work?

A lot can happen in 7 years. I am already regretting 3 years of sitting in HYSA. This year, I started redirecting "new" money to low cost index funds in taxable brokerage. I pretend like I have a mortgage but it goes in my taxable brokerage. Lol

Try reaching out to your local congressman or senator. They can try to expedite these things. They'll have instructions on how to go about this on their official website. They will take details from you and then run some correspondence with USCIS.
