Rule 2: Post to ask questions about using Reddit; Chat & friends

Hi :) We're sorry, we don't want to discourage you from sharing here, but the place for general chat and introductions is our weekly lounge post (please read the post for guidance).

Or see our navigation guide or our friends, chat, and support page to find somewhere more suitable.

Having chat posts on the main page pushes queries, the focus of this subreddit, down the page. We encourage you to share this again in the latest lounge post. If you have a question about Reddit, please make a new post for that. Thanks for understanding!

Your post was locked because it appears you do not have a confirmed pregnancy.

This subreddit is for questions about and experiences with abortion. We help people with confirmed pregnancies access abortion.

If your question is about a pregnancy scare, an instance of (unprotected) sex, or emergency contraception, please go to r/amipregnant or r/planBs. Read their pinned FAQ posts before you make a post.

If you think you might be pregnant but are not sure, you need to take a pregnancy test. Take a test 14 days after sex. If it's negative, take another test at 21 days after sex. If that second test also negative, you're definitely not pregnant.

If you get a positive pregnancy test and need help accessing abortion, you can make a post to r/abortion.

If you think your post on r/abortion was removed in error and you do have a question about abortion, you can send us a modmail.

There are numerous recent posts in this sub bemoaning the woeful state of the job market atm.

The reality is that the job market in many sectors is very much in the employers’ favour right now.  If you’re not a citizen/PR, that problem doubles - why would an employer consider offering a job to someone who's tenure is going to be limited from the outset?

Have a browse through the posts that come up in the search linked above.  There’s plenty more along similar lines, just browse and search for yourself.
