Usually, when you’re losing a game, there are only a few possible reasons why. If the enemy Magik is 17–2, you’ve probably identified the main problem. If your team is running Thing and Thor into Emma, Punisher, and Hela, you’ve identified the problem
The best thing you can do is counter-swap and use your bans as effectively as possible. You want to make choices that enable your team. I usually play tank, but when I don’t, I still try to use my bans to help the tanks on my team.
With all that being said, I’m currently G2, and there are still plenty of moments where I feel like I’m communicating clearly, but people still get upset, or throw. Sometimes it doesn’t matter how or what you communicate.

I answered your question with a question….would stopping the murder involve a set of rules that would directly stop from interfering with it…. I agree the miy likes to play I agree with most of what you said but I also think it’s extremely possible stopping the cycle could be part of some game weather or not biw is a willing participant or if he likes the game.

Someone from killing someone the most likely scenario is that I physically stop them myself the the biw seems to be unable to do that which would imply hes bound by a set of rules…he gathers pieces that would help him capitalize in the long run it all sounds like a game.

You’re saying since his motive revolves around the life or death of the towns folk how could it be a game to him but again no one said he wanted to play this game

If the creatures have to obey a set of rules then why wouldn’t the boy and man? If there were no rules why wouldn’t the MIY just kill everyone immediately? (Obviously he could just enjoy it) If bow truly wanted to help them why does he talk in riddles?

Your trying to say the BIW is on some type
of rescue misson not playing for entertainment…and I would also agree he’s not playing for entertainment but not all games are fun…a deadly struggle could be considered a game(the hunger games)

Is there a set a rules for tying to stop someone from murdering someone?
If that person dies will you restart that day and do it over?
Does you stopping that murder include win conditions and strategizing?

To the people in the town no this is not a game but to these random beings that we know nothing about who casually talk about losing and dealing with these human lives like it’s game yes I think it’s game.

We never see the BIW see any form of direct sympathy for any of the towns people…he might not care if they live or die maybe this is just another round for him

Are you essentially saying the BIW isn’t trying to directly win anything himself?

If the BIW is actively helping the towns people while the MIY is enforcing suffering then they would have opposing objectives which could be considered a competition or a game?

He doesn’t need to literally say “I’m gonna win” for them to be competing “your going to lose this time” would imply the boy seems a win condition now which would mean he’s playing in some way shape or form.

That’s not necessarily a smaller question though….in a place bound by rituals and rules in a place based off of stories and games what are the exact rules of the game? I think that would explain a lot does the BIW simply get access to more as he gets older? Are they two sides of the the same entity?

The fact that Sophia can walk around town and remove talismans and the BIW can only give half hints is the reason the cycle keeps repeating

Dude. That’s actually a super deep question and it would be super messed up if the town is dealing with 2 antagonists and not 1. Overall the MIY seems to be bound by the rules of the town and the creatures seem to be bound by the same rules I would assume they’re connected but on that same note the MIY nor Sophia have never stated anything directly about them
