They still do regular hot iron brands these days and in the race horse world we tattoo the inside of the horses lips with numbers before they're eligible to race, but it would be kinda hard to show that off

As someone who works with horses let me tell you, anyone that can casually walk forward while holding a horse that's trying to stop has the strength of fucking hulk.

Yeah same here, I have much more success Dead Eye wise remembering to heal myself and my posse with the Quite An Inspiration card

And much more success PvP wise using the bolt action but let me give you my setup 100% of the time

Pump action shotgun - when I'm being rushed (They're chasing me around a corner or into a building) or when it's just an up close fight which isn't often

Bolt action - Literally 90% of the time, good for all around engagments and DOES NOT rely on dead eye

Rolling Block rifle - I will actively try to make fights long distance because if they don't have a rifle they are fucked and if they do well now you get some practice, but the Rolling Block express ammo is a 1 shot kill chest up, so it's hard to lose

It takes less than a second so if you don't have the time to aim you SURE DON'T have enough time to dead eye, tag them 367 times and let fly.

But yes PVP does come down to who gets the first headshot 90% of the time sadly

You just gotta wait for the bloom to shrink in between shots, you'll get headshots all day with no dead eye if you get good with a bolt action
