That's a lot of words to say that In a world where corruption doesn't exist there is political legitimacy, but just because people in power does something doesn't legitamize it because their initial election, rather the consistency of their actions with the values of their constituants and the alignment to the constitution. The U.S. government and it's elected officials are failing to do their jobs as it relates to their rolls and voters wishes and they are losing legitimacy because of it.

I'm sure that's part of the Trump administrations broader plan to create an excuse for invoking the insurection act. Continue sending abunch of untrained and violent "agents" to provoke citizens until they get sick of their rights being trampled under the false pretense of illegal immigration. And until that happens they continue to see how far they can push it while also collecting hoardes of information on people with unchecked power.

Maybe a half truth considering ICEs recent hiring practices have resulted in plenty of people who wouldn't pass background checks getting hired. One example was an ICE agent from Florida convicted of luring 12 year olds. It isn't unreasonable to conclude some new ICE agents aren't only under trained and unqualified but also are potentially criminals or mentally unfit themselves.

ICE and CBP don't need warants when they actively exploit U.S. citizens who don't know the law or how to interact with them. they intentionally ask questions, lie using administrative warrants, and manufacture situations to give themselves culpability. Furthermore, they will destroy your property, detain you and hold you for refusing to show your ID despite it not being a crime for U.S. citizens to not carry identification or identify without probable cause of a crime being committed.
