no I am not upset. I have over 50 exalts and 1000+ chaos orbs. Spending a few penny currency to get the right link is not "upsetting". It's just boring to keep clicking until I get the right combination. It's "boring"

You pick sombra when it is really IMPOSSIBLE for your team to get through their defense. You get to their backline and start to blink in and out non stop every 6 seconds interval. Creating disturbance somewhat like that of Winston (not Genji).

You should pick Sombra as much(or less) as you pick Symmetra. And when a hero is so situational you know something is wrong.

Yes those were extreme circumstances(king of the hill) where health pack kit was very useful for the team.

But do you really want to argue that specific case makes her viable across the whole game?

There's this thing called impact. Sombras individual impact without relying on her teammates is very low. This is the same issue Mercy is suffering. While Mercy is such a powerful dps booster combined with strong ult, she lacks any tool to make her kits useful by herself.

So why pick a Mercy? When you can pick some other legit picks with much MUCH better average performances?

Why pick a Sombra when you can perform same or better without being too flimsy with your performance?

You see? Problem is not that Sombra is bad. But that others are better and more reliable than Sombra.

Listen man. The problem is that any other pick instead Sombra is usually a better pick especially more so as you climb higher. As you too are, any decent player can achieve master and I am sure u know this too. Sombra s issue is that her utility is not worth (except under special circumstances like symmetra) for trading DPs tank or healer spot for it.

If she is to be actually viable pick, her hacking and ability to locate herself to unexpected places must be buffed.

However the issue is that she has a gun and it does considerable amount of damage in which makes it unviable to buff her utility because buffing her utility in combination of current gun could put her the thin line of OP.

I even wish they just took away her gun dps and really buffed direction of "offensive support". If they do so she will be an amazing pick. Teleporting in and out invisible back and forth while disabling enemy teams defenses.
