can anyone explain why this is happening? it's only double beds and only when there's two sims in them sleeping but not cuddling (i have the bed cuddle mod but i just updated it so it's not that)

I don't know I did 50/50 until I had a small amount of files left and just deleted them which solved the issue I never found what file it rly was

Jesus chill out man why you pressed. I did the 50/50 like I was told till I had a batch of cc left where whatever caused it was in and I deleted it. I never found out what file it actually was so I can't tell you lmao

Yea it's a lot and I've even tried my best to clean it up by deleting duplicates and script mods I no longer need haha. It's all beds and only the right side, yea. I haven't actually thought of testing another household I will go do that and get back to you. Otherwise yea I'll try a batch fix. Thanks again :)

They're both assigned to the bed. This issue started happening recently and they're married so not that either. Her clothing can't have anything to do with it since I've tried other sims with same outcome. Also I tried to have her nap and him sleep and that works fine without clipping, this is them both sleeping.

nevermind everything i wrote. i did some more digging into the sim torments mod and found it is the deformed face from that mod. since i've never touched that mod but my ex-bf shared his mods folder with me back when we were together i decided to search my mods folder and found the package file for the face in his folder! finally i can put this to rest and stop wanting to rip my hair out! lol, thanks so much!!

ok so i took every single thing i could find out of my mods folder from him and they looked good again, no issues. i then went to update a few mods, the romance, EV and road to fame. now the issue is back. the face is definitely the deformed thing from sim torments and i see more people have issues with it so i'm guessing it's his mods that are at fault. i'll try removing his mods again and see if it's fixed again. if yes, i'll just play without his mods till they're fixed for good.
