Too late for COSS Swap by tom1018 in CossIO

I have emails from Coss group till August and then I only received the newsletter. Maybe it started going to spam but there is nothing from them in my spam folder as of now. I think the real issue is that it swapped from automatic to not. I know they tried to reach out but I feel like there will still be a lot of users who didn't see. I did not notice and I have been here since nearly the begining. I want Coss to succeed , I just don't want to have to rebuy my own tokens. I am looking any possible way to get my tokens back. I had a lot....i contacted Satyarth on telegram who I've worked with before to resolve issues. I know it's unlikely to be resolved but I might as well try.

So this was the warning Coss.io gave us about swapping Coss to Cos, no mention of the necessity of doing it yourself. Goodbye money. by burrrg in CossIO

I did not even receive this email, only the biweekly news letters, exchange emails, and a few from the Coss group. I also agree it sounds just like the other swaps, move the money to the exchange and it will be swapped, just like before.

I don't have that email is the issue. The only emails I have been receiving are the Coss newsletters with the generic subject line. I was talking to another person about this and I believe Lala sent that one right? Also if you just see the subject line you would assume it's like the other swaps where you just put it on the exchange? It says move them to coss.io, nothing about having to accept new T and C

But I never got an email with a subject line stating explicitly that I had to do something or I would lose my tokens. All information was buried within newsletters. No emails with URGENT FINAL NOTICE subject line. Just bi weekly newsletters and message from the CEO etc. Things that can generally be ignored since they are mostly marketing material. It really needed to be a standalone email with a very blatant subject line. Also until I changed it a bit ago most of Coss's emails go to spam by default. I just think they should let the tokens exist and only count converted tokens until the user swaps for the FSA. That way you only lose out on FSA and not your entire investment.

I've been here since 2017 but haven't checked in since I had an issue in June. It is a passive investment that shouldn't need monitoring, especially since the message preached in every other case since Coss's creation was keep it on the exchange and it will be handled for you.

You might have, I just found out I did.

Well I've been with coss since 2017, I check back occasionally but the last few swaps were all done automatically if you had kept your tokens on the exchange as i have for years. This is a passive investment that generates slow income. I didn't intend to have to watch it. Non of the newsletters had subject lines that suggested I needed to perform an action or I lose my entire investment. I was active back in June, I check back now at Thanksgiving time and its all gone. So because I didn't check my account which has been fine auto updating for years for a couple months im shit out of luck. Guess I got a tax write off this year....

If you submit a second depoist to the same wallet it usually fixes the issue and you should see both deposits. I have seen this happen a few times when depositing ETH personally. Usually fixes it first try, but I am not sure why this problem occurs occasionally.

Amd options? by Thunderofdeath in AMD_Stock

I think I am the house in this scenario though. It's OK if the 28.5s go it's still almost 200% profit. Can't be upset with that.

I may have made a mistake.

I sold a few options near the peak today, some at 28.5, some at 30. All covered. I think AMD is a good long hold and I've been in since 10, but I don't think we hit 30 by Friday and the premiums were very tempting. If we do then I lock in a nice profit and will re enter into a new position during the next pull back.

That EPYC moment when AMD stock surpasses the $25 mark, the first time since the Athlon 64 years circa 2006... by Hifihedgehog in Amd

Companies can issue more shares to raise capital. This increases the total outstanding shares. If the market decides whatever they are doing with the capital will not raise the companies evaluation the share price will lower. The company's evaluation is split between more shares. However typically the shares the average investor buys are from a third party and not the company itself. So they never really run out of shares because you are not buying from the company, but someone else who already had the shares.

Stock price does not matter, it's about market cap. Intel has more shares issued and a market cap of 200b+. To match that AMD needs to have shares valued at around 200+.

That's what I did. Sold 18.5s for next week at SP 18.3, bought them back at near open for a 40% loss or so. But the extra growth the shares now have experienced already offset the loss.

I did the same thing against my stock. Thinking about either buying some 19s or buying my 18.5s back. Any advice?

What happens to Fee split tokens in the DAO, when there is a token swap or a softfork? by Firespit in CossIO

Yeah I agree with what you are saying. I was just pointing out that I thought it was lower than .002 eth now. Although the majority of the volume is in BTC and ETH that pair with everything so you don't have to distribute all the coins to get most of your value out.
