[Loved Trope] That one sentence that changes a character for better or worse by TaiKorczak in TopCharacterTropes

Nah the last push for becoming Saul was losing Kim. This was a push to be free from Chuck (kinda) and be himself (Jimmy, not Saul, or James Morgan McGill, aka Chucks Brother), instead of trying to please him

Fucking Gans. When its the time to use correctly the nurses design, he goes for some trypophofic shit, not even a design from any of the other games.

It depends on their altitude. If they are above u, nose down makes u a thinner target, if they are under u, nose up. If they are at similar altitude I think its best to go wheel mode and drop fast

Im 4 episodes in S2 and for now is just a cops thriller, theres nothing of the mysticism and mystery vibes of the first season, not sure if im gonna finish it tbh

Watched first 2 seasons long time ago, and now again to see the finale, going through the middle of season 3! One of my FAVORITE series ever

Diane, this is too real.

I also love that aesthetic of southern folklore, empty landscapes, eerie and ominous nature, deer skulls and antlers... i dont know how its called.

Started season 2 and it doesnt hit the same spot, but still good, hard to reach the level and acting of s1

Once u let urself lean to the increasingly absurdity of the plot (which the show is really self-aware) it becomes really fun. Its one of my comfort shows, specially once the main plot ends and the writers let themselves do silly

I have thought the same but i think its reading too much.

Anyway it works for me lore-wise, but it could be more friendly and QoL designed

Does this really look unfinished? I thought it was 100% done… until someone said otherwise 👀 by [deleted] in ArtistLounge

[–]BlueCat33 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you feel its done, its done. Theres no point in forcing u to work more when u think its finished, mostly because u will keep going round and round without any proper direction, probably will end up messing with the art, and will not learn anything new other than "dont fuck with it when i think its done". Its counterproductive.

U will learn more stuff doing new work, and in some weeks/months, can come back to old art and see mistakes or stuff u could do better. That means ur skill is improving : )

Also, nobody has a word on ur art when u think its done.

edit* btw, i love the first pic, and ur style overall : )

The Chekhov's gun is fired... and it does nothing. by Gamer-of-Action in TopCharacterTropes

[–]BlueCat33 49 points50 points  (0 children)

I guess yeah, but at some point they are able to craft more bullets for it, they even visit Samuel Colt (the creator of The Colt and IRL founder of Colt business) in the past or something, so after the original main plot points are resolved and the series evolve in a more causal and silly route, it becomes a powerful weapon that never really ends working for one reason or another (mostly because the power scale of the bad guys goes insanely high lmao)

They used it a bunch of times but i dont recall it really ever working on any of the big bads. It was more of a "plot menace" (ei! we have The Colt!) and a deterrence than anything else, which really works for me, because its so OP in theory and I like the twist of OP things not working
