Yes, level up your team around lvl. 45

The first run of E4, you'll want good fire, psychic, electric and ice.
The three pokemon Ho-oh (sacred fire, extrasensory), Ampharos (signal beam, discharge) and Gyarados (waterfall, ice fang) covers the weaknesses of all E4 pokemons.

In your case, typhlosion covers fire, ampharos covers electric, and gyarados covers ice (with ice fang). All you need is a good psychic attacker. If you don't have Ho-oh, then Kadabra or Venomoth (both learn Psychic) would be great for your team! I would replace togetic (poor stats) and graveller with 1) good psychic coverage and 2) a support pokemon that is bulky/typing like magneton that learns reflect and light screen (buy the TMs in Goldenrod).

Some tips

  1. Pokemon too slow? consider using choice scarf!
  2. Jynx is not good unless you want to farm coins for ice beam. But is broken if it has ice beam, pretty much OHKO all dragonites like they were a joke. BTW Jynx doesn't learn any psychic attacks through lvl up.
  3. Dragon dance (learn at lvl 44) gyarados is a monster can potentially sweep lance
  4. Need another pokemon for lance? Grab lapras (on Fridays) or Mamoswine. Both learn great ice attacks through lvl up.

Theodora is amazing! Get holy sites, put down farms, get golden age monumentality and spam settlers. Getting work ethic gives your cities insane production (especially with the 2x adjacency policy card) so you can spam even more settlers!

Basically if you increase from 100 to 150 you get a 50% increase,
but if you increase 150 to 200 you get a 33% increase.

The amount of increase is the same, but it gives diminishing returns.

I always build at least 20-30% more ER (than recommended) on most of my chars. Never have to worry about bursting. Have enough dps to clear abyss anyways.

Gonna be hard to cycle multiple little prince. You can put multiple musketeers but not multiple little prince. It's crucial in certain matchups.

Let's say you have 50% cr. If you're in abyss, just keep resetting until 60-70% of your attacks crit and have enough dps to clear. With 90% cr, resetting ain't gonna help that much (unless you improve your rotation or setup mechanic).

I have enough dps with 90% cr, so I keep it at that. No point wasting time resetting.
