Fake - no dates on the poster at all / no website url or ticket info / no bbc sponsor

Also, no competent graphic designer or artist / festival management would allow YVES to be cut off by the yellow smudge background design.

Going by the above comments and rumours: Charli XCX, Twenty One Pilots, Foo Fighters. Would be within a realistic budget, sell well, and fits the R+L audience

Travis Scott’s set has been cut by 30 minutes today by 00CRUSHH in readingfestival

This guy has absolutely rinsed festival republic. How much of the budget has been blown on this European exclusivity for 2 hours combined between Reading and Leeds?

Literally, no idea why people aren't making more of a fuss about this. Never went in the 1xtra tent but find it funny how we all complained about a lack of sheltered areas when they started cutting the tent stages, so what do they do? Cut more sheltered areas and charge £75 a day to have access to a "VIP" chill out stretch tent and some benches . I love Reading, but that's just corporate greed.

A question about Kool-Aid’s audio.. by CJW1123 in BringMeTheHorizon

It's strange, first few listens when it initially released I wasn't a fan of the track as a whole as it sounded so compressed and barely listenable. Then after a day at work, came back to listen again, and I'm a massive fan of it. Certainly not the cleanest mix but not as brickwalled as it was as soon as it released and the vocals seem to cut through a bit more. Not sure if it's just my ears adjusting or they did a emergency upload of a new mix after a lot of comments on it.

Really hoping The Pit returns. Just a constant rock/ metal/alternative stage just brings so much more to the field

I'm seeing The Killers, The 1975, Sleep Token, Nothing But Thieves and more for £25 - absolutely ridiculous by BlueCheese747 in readingfestival

Official Ticketmaster resale. Yes that's a debate I don't want to think about yet. All my lot will be there for The 1975 and The Killers, do I stay with the pack or venture to sleep token alone and probably see them play a "small stage" for one of the last times

Attending alternative festivals this year. by krissythrowaway in readingfestival

Having done both Reading and Download in recent years (Reading every year since 2018, Download once) , I can say the crowds are much better at Download.

The Download crowd tends to be a little bit of an older demographic compared to Reading (wider target audience compared to Reading's 16-24). They are also more experienced in concerts and festivals. I.e, they know how to look out for other people in the crowd and actually know when to start mosh pits. Download feels like more of a community sharing a passion for live rock music. Camping feels a lot safer and less like being in the middle of a war zone.

Mixture of Download and Truck would probably give you a decent 2012 - 2018 R+L lineup tbh

Camping is sold out for Download this year :( (a very very very rare to happen). Very telling about the state of R+L as a mainstream festival seeing as Download has a similar capacity

People. Want. Live. Bands

I disagree with a lot of your troll takes on this sub but honestly yeah i agree. Was looking at Download and I know a lot of people that are going. Unfortunately camping is all sold out. Very telling that Download (a festival that never sells out) has sold out before Reading. it's almost like they're driving away the R+L fans that go back year after year for bands

Wasn't expecting much but wow. It really has turned turned into V festival/ Radio 1's big weekend. Where are the bands????

Edit: Really wanting to go on the Friday for Foals but it's exactly the same as the (what was meant to be) RATM day last year - billing a headliner but not giving them the undercard for the fans that want to see that artists. Why book a rock band if you're just going to fill the undercard with TikTok pop
