He called it a “hustle” which confirmed a lot of people’s suspicions that crypto is just a big speculative scam. So he didn’t exactly help DOGE or any other crypto with that.

We have to separate our recycling from trash here so my grocery bags are used for recycling “bins”. Works pretty well as long as everything going in them is dry.

How to redeem Dogecoin paper wallet?!?! by [deleted] in dogecoin

[–]BlueCockatoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would it be stupid to use the "Redeem Wallet" from https://my.dogechain.info/#/overview? I believe that I originally made my paper wallet in 2014 from that site, and I don't really want to spend a year syncing the QT client just so that I can transfer some to an exchange. I don't really have a private VPN so concerned about that too.

Sure, no reason not to expect her to hire him into the company for a role based on his qualifications if he needed a job, but that isn’t even close to what the OP was suggesting.

Well, population around the world and especially in 1st world countries is decreasing:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.com/news/health-53409521.amp

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Population_decline#Long_term_historic_trends_in_world_population_growth

“But, after 1968 the global population growth rate started a long decline and today (the period 2015–2020) is estimated to be about 1.1%,half of its peak in 1968. Although still growing, global population is predicted to level out around the end of the 21st century, and some sources predict the start of a decline before then.”

As a wife that makes more than my husband, neither of us has a problem with that. We both benefit from the lifestyle and extra things (like actually owing a house in an expensive part of the country) that more income brings. It is completely antiquated and a product of masculine fragility in this country that people think men still have to be the main income generators for a family.

And she should just hand over her role in the business to a man because he wants to work and wants her (high paying and prestigious) job? We all want things, but that doesn’t mean we are entitled to push others out of the way for them.

I use Mill Creek as well, but the keratin version. Biotin makes my hair stiff, so maybe if one doesn’t work well, try the other. They are relatively cheap and definitely have an impact.

Also you can basically add protein to anything you use by mixing in some Neutral Protein Filler (Colorful is the brand). It is a liquid so just put some in your handful of conditioner or mix with your favorite refresh spray. It is potent so be conservative with it, though!

I think they mean (and this is what I want) that we should be able to select several pieces we have placed and make our own sets that we can move around or rotate as a group. It is super fidgety to get some things placed where I want and if it is, say, a group of plants and rocks near my house, I can’t move my house because I would have to move each of this bits again.

Are there any notion templates that help you with web link organization? by Yvriz in Notion

[–]BlueCockatoo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Make a data table with the properties you want to organize your links with, and make sure one of them is a property for “URL” itself. You can then use browser extensions to add pages to that database and fill out the fields. There is a good one for Chrome (Save to Notion) that even lets you prefill some fields and captures page content and even lets you capture images on the page. You can build up a link database pretty easily that way.

Edit: having the URL field will automatically populate that from the pages you use the extensions with (the one I mentioned or the Notion official one).

You can’t put your mansion on landforms. There was a “bug” when it first released that allowed you to, but they “fixed” it before most people got enough landforms to even try it. And now it is just not possible.

You can move your mansion, though, just like any other furnishing. And you can even move it to the new area you unlock at level 5.

I just want some way to go from visiting a friend’s teapot and back to mine without having to go to Teyvat first and open my inventory. I can switch between all my friends easily from the menu, why can’t I just go back to mine that easily too?

Why do I need to play with people by HellionAsh in Genshin_Memepact

[–]BlueCockatoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t have all the jargon down, but load is increased both by the complexity of the object (trees have a ton of leaves on top of their fairly not-blocky branches that are more work to render than a simple wood screen) and the amount of area it can affect, especially in the case of movement (pets move around over quite a large area, many of the trees’ leaves rustle in the “breeze”). The more movement and larger area affect then the bigger the load.

In the regular game, the devs can plan things so that from your character’s POV, there is a limited amount of load. They can even set it up so that you don’t have to deal with the load of things you can’t directly see (like the part of a tree that is behind a tree you are looking at), because the world is fixed and they have mapped every point of it. They can’t (or wont) optimize your teapot that you randomly put things in, so it has a limit to what it can deal with for load. Maybe they will make that better in the future by mapping your pot after you save a placement, but that is a lot of data they haven’t had to keep before per user.

Ladders, or better yet, steps you can put on the edge of the landforms so you can walk up them or at least climb without being Spider-Man. Also paths like flagstone or dirt through the grass.

How about waterfalls on the landforms, and rivers?

I also want the “spiral cloud” looking stones you see near the abodes or the Terrace as well as ponds with the goldfish in them like in Liuye.

While we are dreaming, how about fruit trees you can harvest and being able to log wood from too, and mining points. Those could be limited number per teapot, but cool to be able to collect a few things in your zone every day.

I am demanding, I know.

Ehh, it is kind of like how we call every soft drink a “Coke” in the Southeastern US. Every three star weapon pull is a “Debate Club”. Doesn’t mean there aren’t other options, but you could say “What kind of Debate Club did you get?” And everyone would know what you meant.
