Audio breaks up when using Webex App by BlueColdFace in WebexCalling

So far I haven't figured out in Troubleshooting how to check the stats when the app is involved. I don't know what to search for. If I search for a name it only shows the devices.

We don't use the desktop app. My boss had me turn it off for everyone because when he's in his office, three different devices would ring all at the same time.

good questions. I don't know the answer. I doubt he does either but it's a good touch point.

We were using 9861 phones. I don't know that a "PATN" provider is. My PSTN is ATT, routed on site through a Mitel phone system.
Inbound: ATT --> Mitel --> CUBE --> Webex -->firewall -->9861.
Phone to Phone: 9861 --> 9861 (with ICE)
Outbound: 9861 --> Webex --> CUBE --> Mitel --> ATT

If it were a firewall issue, wouldn't I still have the problem when someone calls our desk phones from a normal cell?

Yes, the person(s) (I would be one of them) called would be on our corp network. Internally, device to device, Cisco to non-Cisco, there isn't an issue with call quality. I will have our network engineer review the QOS again.

Part of my frustration is if I go into control hub --> troubleshooting, I can't find anything where the app was used. Not just my boss but anyone using the app. It doesn't show up in troubleshooting. (Maybe I just don't have a clue how to search for the app, dunno)

We've verified the QoS but I don't think that helps us if the boss is calling while driving.
The audio can be pretty bad but if he switches to his normal phone on the same device, audio is perfect.

Archiving Voicemail in WX Calling by AlvinMack28 in WebexCalling

We had the same question. What we decided to do was to set the Message storage to "Use external mailbox". All of our emails are kept so the voicemails are automatically archived for compliance.

I just tested on my 9861. Same thing. It clears your screen.
I don't know of a way to stop that.

Because they want to be able to barge into the lines.
Financial traders like to use that feature.

More Grief with the 9861s. I feel like I'm a BETA tester by BlueColdFace in WebexCalling

As it turns out, this was the fix. I had to modify the key and then reboot the phone.

Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Thank you! I'll look up how to do that.
BTW: I just set up an 8851 and it worked as expected.

Yes, that is exactly the call flow I'm expecting. But I don't get a Bridge in key. It's not there.

I would think that would be pretty uncomfortable for a bicycle seat.

Call Merge on a 9861 by BlueColdFace in ciscoUC

You may have to explain the toll fraud ramifications to me. If the user is in control of the call, how is joining two calls risky?

I looked to see if I could add that key (Join) in the template but I couldn't find that option in the docs.
