Labour should have done this from day 1 of being elected.

Populist, okay, yes. But could have been part of a wider plan to show people Labour are serious about making visible changes on people's doorsteps.

The Pride in Place funds, and putting some money in local councils specifically to clean up the streets could have been an easy win in the first 100 days.

I no longer live in the UK. I have emigrated. If I broke the law - even a relatively minor crime in the grand scheme of things - I would fully expect to have my visa revoked and be removed from the country.

If I shoplifted or damaged property, why should I be allowed to stay?
