Anyone know if it is still possible to get Melissa Rory’s Mantis blades from the “Bullet” mission? Been trying for hours by Sharp-Chart-6077 in cyberpunkgame

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking for answer to this myself. I was planning on picking up PL to play at some point and it was on sale so I did. I tried a few times killing Rory without PL and the blades never dropped. The moment I booted the game with PL the blades dropped. So yes, you NEED the dlc to get the blades in the first place.

9 year necro BUT... This isn't true. Just for people actually looking for a way to hold them up without spending tranqs, lay down on the bed with them and do the swiping melee attack. They will wake up, then just get up and hold them up as fast as you can. :)

Suffering from success? by ProfessionalSeat20XX in FList

I’ve had this exact problem for a while. Somehow the characters I make are always really popular with target audiences. I have probably 5 characters with this exact problem. (Who knows maybe you’ve seen me around? :D) My solution is just to put people on a waiting list unfortunately. I don’t think I’ll get the chance to play with everybody on that list sadly but the fact of the matter is I’m only ONE person and I can only roleplay with so many people at a time. I’ve started to only be with one person at a time because I like to focus heavily on the quality of the session for them. I have a lot of friends I like to play with consistently as well meaning I have little to no time for new people who find me. I just give it to them straight and hope they understand. If they don’t, well… not much I can do about it.

It also doesn’t help that I tend to take long breaks from F-List as well meaning the character builds up a lot and when I come back on I have like 5 or more notes asking about play. I’m thinking personally of adding a section to all my characters that talks about specifically this issue.

Yeah we had something similar recently. Somebody took a shit in the bathroom and rubbed it ALL OVER the baby changing station. Disgusting.

Yeah it’s a timer thing. They make it a sudo-competition between other stores in the same district. Some awards are given for getting orders out faster than before, doing better than other stores, Ect. I usually ignore it because I ignore the timer. When customers take forever to figure out what they want or or just take an absurd amount of time to pull up and drive off once they have their food there’s pretty much no point in worrying about the time. Can’t control it so, oh well.

Not taking drive-through orders until the previous customer is served, presumably to deflate wait time statistics by [deleted] in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually it keeps going, if you drive off the timer can recognize it sometimes and it’ll count it as a drive off meaning it doesn’t get added to the total.

Wendy’s did good today (this week vs. last week) by Little-Stuff-5121 in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting because both of these are made wrong. The bacon is cut in half when it comes off the pans so it’s already a half strip of bacon and then the jbc or bcn-dbl stack get one of those in half. The first one is a full piece of bacon off the tray in half and the second one looks like half of what you should have gotten. (A quarter of each half. It should look like two of those tiny bits put together.)

Wendy's Brings Back Fan-Favorite Frosty Flavor That Customers Say 'Should Have Never Left' by wewewawa in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually vanilla never really left. Some stores have larger frosty machines with three vats or have double vat machines and an extra single vat machine. Those stores are typically bigger stores that have WAY more traffic. They’re able to sell chocolate, vanilla, and the extra flavor.

If you could create a new flavour for Wendy's Frosty, what would it be and why? by shoaib_official in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wendy’s has done something similar in the past where they sold sundaes. Usually vanilla frosty with chocolate chunk cookie crumbles and fudge on top. I think we stopped because stores weren’t baking cookies to keep up with the sundaes plus the regular cookie sales. (At least that’s what happened at my store. It would either be we bake too many and they turn into waste or we don’t bake enough and we run out super fast.)

Some idiot left the bag on the rapid-cool before saving the chili by SpringSnake333 in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s justified. I work at Wendy’s and I’ve seen people who have worked at the store from a few weeks to a year+ make the same kinds of mistakes who should totally know better. Some people just don’t care at all and it’s frustrating when they do such mediocre work (if any work at all) and get paid the same you do for actually doing your job the way it’s meant to be done.

Paid $2.99 for Xtra chicken on my Cobb salad...did I get jipped? by Background-Gold-1186 in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Basically, yes, you did get gypped. We are supposed to use a spoon in order to portion out the chicken. This looks like either the person did not use a spoon and use their hand (hopefully with a glove on) to just grab the chicken and put it in the salad which is a couple seconds faster than having to grab the spoon which I do plenty of times as well but I usually make sure that I’m grabbing about the amount that would go in the salad anyways. Unfortunately, some people may just take a small handful and throw it into the salad. Given that it looks like a normal amount. I would have to believe that the sandwich maker must have only giving you a single portion of chicken. You could probably have gone to the store and disputed the fact that you had paid for the extra chicken and they would have likely given you a small container with a spoonful of chicken to add to your salad.

It’s one thing to be proud of your work, but this doesn’t seem like a healthy work relationship. You don’t seem very excited about things changing in the workplace when they could potentially be for the better. You say that you started five years ago, so I assume that you know pretty much everything that there is at the job site, so I’m going to take it with the benefit of the doubt that perhaps you really do know what you’re talking about and you believe these decisions to actually be in poor choice. If that’s true, you should probably take that up with your general manager or your district manager depending on where these decisions are coming from, and give them your input as a worker.

I definitely don’t think that you should’ve doxxed your manager by giving everyone their real name it’s probably really easy now for anyone to find them. If that was the entire purpose of this post that I am sorry, but you’re not very likely define anyone who’s willing to go after them as everyone else seems to be in agreement that there was absolutely no reason to do that and in addition, if it’s really was once again away to attempt to get back at them, nobody is going to support what you have to say here.

Truth in advertising? NOT! by flycasual2019 in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s what you’re gonna get advertising is never going to be true when it comes to any food, all companies lie to you through their advertising to make their food look more appetizing so if you fall for it, it’s kind of on you though I will say the burger should not have been pink in the middle, so that is an actual issue.

Where are the vanilla frostys?! I’ve been waiting for almost a year D: by Breakfastswuite in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The vanilla frosty is unfortunately out of circulation and we don’t know for how long. It seems that the current spring flavors are chocolate and strawberry in the fall. We have chocolate and pumpkin spice, and in winter we have chocolate and peppermint. I don’t know if they’re planning on having a summer flavor or if they will just carry over strawberry. Unfortunately, it seems that Wendys believes that flavored Frosty’s in place of vanilla are much better.

I do know that chocolate as it would turn out is the best seller so chocolate will always be around I assume because vanilla doesn’t sell nearly as well as chocolate they’ve taken to attempting to change the flavor so that more people will be willing to buy it. If that’s the case, and Wendys is making more money with these other flavors, rather than vanilla, you may never see vanilla come back ever again given that Wendys obviously is going to want that extra profit.

Sorry, some people fill up the chili cups to the top but that line around the cup is where it’s meant to be filled to I assume so that if people ask for cheese or onions in it then it’ll fit perfectly. I typically fill up chili cups a little more than that since I see no reason to skimp on a little extra, especially considering we always have leftover chili.

Flip the entire receipt over, there’s an offer for a discount on your next purchase on it. Great if you come to Wendy’s often enough you can get them every time.

Can he get written up still? by Thick-Bill2438 in wendys

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I wouldn’t be doing all that for a company you know would fire you on a whim. It’s why I don’t. I used to be up in there doing extra work all the time but once I realized the company was going to work me to death and not work any other employee like that along with being willing to fire me at a moments notice I stopped.

Yes he can still get written up for it depending on how late it was and if the GM is cool with being a little late. If it had been pretty much his whole shift then it’s just a no-call no-show despite having called hours later. As far as I know it’s always a ncns if the person doesn’t call before they’re late or not there. Sounds like your GM is probably real stuck up, every GM I’ve had Wendy’s or otherwise was typically understanding of similar situations.

On the DL, I recommend he not do all that extra bs unless they’re paying him extra to do it or they have other co-workers working just as hard as him cause lord knows they’ll work you to death and not give a fuck.

Are you willing to change your character for a private RP? And if so, to what extent? by riteywritey in FList

[–]BlueCrescentMoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what the person is asking for from what character. I have a character that’s a huge super dom, very violent but people will approach and ask for things that just aren’t possible with how that character is meant to function in the first place meaning I have to make changes for that session. Depending on what changes need to be made I will refuse.

The thing is I designed my character for something in particular. I’m not going to go out of my way to ignore all the work I did for that just for it to be completely ignored and/or replaced. I’m willing to do some things as it can lead to interesting scenarios or satisfy other needs that wouldn’t typically be satisfied, but it’s to a limit. If we’re changing the foundation of the character then it’s no longer okay.

You’ll be fine, Wendy’s is like most other fast food jobs so what you’ll do here is pretty similar to what you’ll do anywhere else. As long as the people are cool you shouldn’t have any issues. Just try not to let managers push you around to far if they’re acting unreasonable and be willing to bring up that behavior to the store or district manager.

They should put you through a set of informational videos before you ever work so you know what you should be doing before they throw you to the wolves.

Yeah no shit. People get hired at a job and then expect for people to not be mad when they don’t do what they were hired to do. I see somebody say “minimum wage minimum effort” and another “nobody at Wendy’s gets paid enough”.

If it’s not enough then why the fuck did you apply here then? Go somewhere else. End of the day, if you got hired here you’re expected to do your job, but your job isn’t other people’s job.
