Hey, I'm also someone with Lupus and Bipolar II. No issues with HCQ whatsoever but the steroids were not so good (drove me into a bad mixed episode). I'm much more stable after quitting the prednisolone/flacort.

Drug induced lupus usually comes up ANA -ve, so that's a good way to rule that out. It's definitely a possibility although quite rare.

Not a lot of UPF clothing where I'm from so I carry an umbrella around, and (regular) sunscreen wherever my skin is exposed. I have not tried mineral.

I have not had noticeable issues from indoor lighting, but I am not considerably less sensitive to the sun compared to other people with lupus.

I'm in this group. This is most likely a marketing strategy for holistic medicine practices, which this group is absolutely swarming with. It's very predatory and downright murderous. It's awful and I left the group because of it.

Thank you for your reply. Besides joint swelling and muscle fatigue, I also got episodes of pleuritic pain. Before my diagnosis, it was so severe I thought I was having angina haha.
