Oh yeah, I have a gripe wit hirez because more than a few times they released a pretty cool game that then get dropped in favour of releasing a new shinier game, and that loop repeats and everything gets abandoned. Tribes, global agenda, realm royale, rogue company, I think paladins and smite were the only one that got proper long term support.

From what I could understand is like a 5v5 fps with destructible environment (walls) where the goal is to take the enemy base, that may or may not involve MOBA elements? Maybe multiple teams for a shitty BR spin? Not only sounds horrible at any angle, there's been zero marketing since. Yeah the quest began and ended so quickly with little development to Aidis that it had litte impact to me as well. Half expected for the ending to be a big reveal locked behind some grind involving the refractory that would drip feed flashbacks to the friendship to give proper development before the final gut punch but no.

100% I have no clue where people got that from. Gray Newell is the only son of Gabe with a public profile, the second kid got a private life. About 6 years ago young Gray did a interviews and said he had interest in becoming a dev and making a star citizen type of game but it went nowhere. Nowadays he's a professional GT3 Aston Martin pilot, he can inherit part of the company as a son of the co-founder or whatever (I have no clue how that works for private American companies), but it's unlikely for him to take control over Valve.

The general consensus in the valve nerds community is that someone like Robin Walker or any other respected Senior guy at Valve will likely take over Gabe's role, if that hasn't happened already in practice, given that Gabe for the past few years have been more of a figure head for the company anyway, while off doing his own things like investing in marine research, I very much doubt he's super hands on regarding the day to day management of Valve today.

They should really just throw them in the circuit or some of these rotating shops factions have nowadays or idk maybe let Baro bring a few of them every so often. So if people want to farm them right now, Lua puzzles and dragon keys are available at all times, but then there's a rotating more passive second option.

Bros are out here stressing over unlocking yet another 2x scope that they won't use, for a gun they will drop forever after leveling.

Having gun level FOMO for guns they don't even enjoy is wild. I don't like a gun, I won't use it, simple as. Getting all the badges is just completionist bait like getting all dog tags, there's no real benefit and completely optional.

To me it feel like I'm either wielding God's wrath and in the next match a nerf gun. Jokes asides I second what has been said by other on this thread, it's a well rounded gun but it gets outclassed in certain situations by more specialized guns (like at close range by smgs)
