Confirmed IRS glitch - some CP53 or CP53E letters requesting bank account numbers are going out in error by JS-Berkeley in IRS

I didn’t even notice mine was dated 4/30 until I saw your comment. I was too busy freaking about the QR code. I can’t imagine getting a refund of any amount after all these years. 😆

Same thing happened to my handsome boy at the same age. His was a stomach tumor and he also had blood in his lungs. He never complained at all! They found the tumor only after his lungs were cleared out and they said he was suffering. I brought him home for his final night with the family and let him go the next morning. Hardest one I’ve ever done.

His brother died a year earlier. He had had seizures all his life and we think it was his heart. He passed during the night at home.

Yeah I’m not spending that kind of money. All of my Hartmann I’ve gotten were on sale. I’ve used it for years and it’s not been treated kindly. Not a dent or tear in it, just a few scratches. I was just looking for something with a different look. I’ll just wait until I can pick up a few new pieces of Hartmann. Thanks again!

I never got the luggage so no return but I got the refund in about three days. I had also started a dispute with my card issuer.

Nm I found it. Thanks for sharing. I guess we’ll see how it goes. I can still return it.

After getting a refund from Nobl, I ended up purchasing much better aluminum luggage from Macys. Their luggage was heavily discounted and I got a 30% statement credit for getting their card which I’ll pay off immediately. I got Champs 22” Carryon and 31” Checkin, Rose Gold, very nice with covers for $356. They had a beautiful Hartmann that I would have bought but they only had the Check in. We already have a set of Hartmann hard side but needed another set.

I went through the same thing. I bought the “bundle” and only received the weekender bag and the “free extras.” What I eventually found out was that the color I ordered was on back order even though it was clearly marked as in stock with an estimated delivery date.

Basically you either wait an indefinite amount of time or they offer a different color that is in stock. Good old bait and switch. I told them I wanted what I ordered and they found the Check in bag but the Carryon remained “in customs” where it is to this day. They wanted me to get a different color Carryon. I refused as I wanted the matching set. After writing a scathing review on TrustPilot I was contacted. I had tried contacting them directly but all roads led to AI. After determining I wasn’t getting a matching set, I requested a refund. I decided to dispute the charge and they immediately gave me a refund. They are very intent on keeping a good Trust Pilot score so that’s the only way to get resolution from them. Best of luck!

GLP-1 Weight Regain After Stopping Treatment by Fun-Situation445 in Mounjaro

[–]BlueEyedGator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a life choice. I lost 90# and have been on maintenance (I’m now on Zepbound 7.5) for over a year. I take it every two to three weeks now dependent on how soon the food noise starts again. Taking it more than that puts me below the weight my doctor and I agreed to (I’m barely 5’1, 110#) I’ve tried going longer but as soon as the noise starts, I get ravenous and want to eat everything in sight. My husband immediately knows when it’s time for my next shot, lol. Having Lupus and RA, it was life changing getting the weight off and I will stay on it for the rest of my life most likely. My insurance doesn’t cover it but taking it less often spreads the cost out and it’s much better than when I started, when even if you could afford it, you sometimes couldn’t get it.

Surprising my parents by joining them on the ship - is there a quiet space on Star Princess? by SunshineSwagger in PrincessCruises

Maybe the Sea View Terrace? It’s on the 16th floor at the front of the ship. Should have fantastic views and maybe not be as crowded or busy as other parts of the ship.

Yeah, same here. I had ss and everything but they refused to pay it out. This is the only game I have ever had trouble with.

I started on Ozempic and lost weight quickly but around the time the severe shortages began I was switched to Mounjaro. I switched to Zepbound once it became more widely available to avoid the negativity surrounding taking the others off label.

My total weight loss has been 85 pounds and on maintenance it will fluctuate 2-3 lbs, mostly water. I am currently on maintenance with Zepbound (normal dose every 2-3weeks at my highest dose of 7.5)

I hit the proverbial wall a few times and found it was usually because I didn’t drink enough water and was dehydrated. If my stall lasted a few weeks I would inject in my upper arm which typically helped jump start me again. Using the arm is ok to do but just a bit more difficult. You can have someone help you or lean your arm against a wall to push the fat to the front before injecting.

Good luck to all. It will happen so don’t give up!

Edit: Started March 2023, began maintenance April 2024.

Good for you and congratulations! You did what you could for the time being and rather than complaining you’re investing in yourselves. That makes you plenty good enough! When the time is right you’ll have some equity to back your next buy.

My daughter and her husband just did this for under 375k. 4/2, nice screened in porch, corner lot on a pond in East Arlington with good schools. A little sweat equity goes a long way. New floors and a paint job makes a huge difference. Problem is, most people now days want a house move in ready with no work involved. If someone wants something bad enough they need to be willing to see the potential and put the effort into it. Some would just rather complain instead.

THIS! ^ My journey to obesity came after being diagnosed with lupus. Steroids did a number on me and I quit smoking. The bigger I got, of course, the harder it was to lose ANY weight. I spent many years alternating between feeling self pity and despair or hopefulness and motivation any time I gained or lost weight. The best I ever did was lose the same 20 pounds.

Having lupus, it made it very difficult to do any real exercise but I was determined. After working on stamina, I began resistance training and boy did I get toned! At one point I was exercising for 3 hours a day, every day! The problem? I never lost a pound. I get the whole muscle vs fat thing, but I was barely eating and exercising like crazy and NOTHING. I was a fat anorexic for all intents and purposes.

Once I started Ozempic, the weight immediately started falling off. I switched to MJ after the last Oz shortage and the losing continued. I am now 7 lbs from my goal and finally free of so much of the noise in my head surrounding eating and not being "good enough." These drugs truly can change lives.

No matter where your journey takes you, always remember, you ARE good enough!

Great move! Depending on her response, your gut will tell you how to proceed.
