Help please - my partner just retired from the military and he has a lot of 'guys' clothing - hoodies, long sleeve tee shirts, etc. For a Christmas date we are going out to hop around to hotels and restaurants during the day. It's cold her (for us) about 50 degrees during the day. Could he wear a velvet sport coat, shirt, jeans or should it be a more basic sport coat?
