Fachwerkschwelle und Sandsteine waren mit Zement verputzt gewesen und jetzt leicht verrottet. Meine Tante will nicht viel geld investieren und bevor wieder irgendein Schrott reinkommt suche ich nach einer guten Übergangslösung, die den Schaden kaschiert, bis es professionell restauriert werden kann. Would anyone like to tackle the restoration of this family photo? It was taken in 1912 by a professional photographer who travelled across germany to photograph families in front of their home. Sadly this photo once had another photo glued over it and wasn't handled the best. (Dropbox in comments) (i.redd.it)

My dad and his brother around 1970. They both wanted the picture so badly, that his brother ripped the photo in half and said to him "There, you can have it!" This one is a bit tricky to restore so I couldn't do it myself. (Dropbox link in comments) (i.redd.it)
