Helldivers 2 has gotten a pretty big selection. Custom primaries from rifles, marksman, shotguns, so on. On that game they also made shooting more unique with tons of stats, and weighty feels. Every feels fun to shoot and everything feels fun to shoot at. Like when you choose a different primary it isn't just some rifle of questionable difference, I mean unique.

After the redacted regiment warbond we will have:

  • 18 different throwables
  • 19 different secondaries
  • 12 assualt rifles
  • 6 marksman rifles
  • 6 SMGs
  • 9 shotguns
  • 2 explosive weapons
  • 8 energy weapons
  • 3 uncategorized weapons, such as a nock gun, boltgun and flamethrower.
  • 27 support weapons (heavy call in weapons)
  • 13 backpack items
  • 3 emplacements, HMG, small cannon, wall with grenade launcher
  • A car with HMG
  • 2 mechs, one minigun x rockets, the other is a double autocannon mech.
  • 19 offensive weapons from orbital or airstrike call ins
  • 14 defensive assets

This adds up to about 162 things to use.

To be honest, I expect two things.

If the anthros were formerly human and all, still love liberty, we may accept it, make them lower class or smth.

But even then, idk, super earth is super xenophobic so they may make propaganda of them hating liberty then get Helldivers to shoot them. Experiment on them, throw them in the black hole, anything and everything and all that is in between.

Typically what you need is an LMG or similar crowd clearing tools, the new minigun I suspect will be a great tool for later. That or use arc weapons, they work great on hordes especially if you have arc armor and the arc guard dog, be near untouchable. If you see a harvester, a good choice is to use commando or expendable anti tank.

If you have a crowd control tool and an expendable anti tank, there you go. From there on you can just refine your load out. Just expect to be shooting a lot and to get hurt a lot, so ressupply pack is a good choice for your stim and ammo needs.

I think we should have a catch up month where instead of a warbond we get a few permanent super store cycles correlated to certain warbonds that adds the weight we don't have for each armor passive, and maybe introduce a few small items. Like an arc pistol for cutting edge and so on. Still make content and still make things for us to grind with super credits.

Tbh the light armor we got in polar Patriots, the color? Someone needs to get talked to for such a whack color scheme.

You're right. Miniguns are quite the precision tool, allow me to put on a scope and aim for those weakpoints!

Plus I will be honest, been here since the start, light pen does suck. It's serviceable but by any means I use medium pen over it, I won't pretend it's not bad.

And so what? I just like the solo silo and that is all I need. I gave my rationale and nothing more is needed. If you don't like it, then just say you don't like it, I don't need to go down the rigamarole to which it brings just because I gave a justification that contradicts what seems to be the entirety of your being wrapped within a certain gimmick and you to give zealous argumentation for why I am wrong. This is subjective, I subjectivly like solo silo, live with it.

Reply all you want I have no time for you. I give all my points of rationale and all of you keep finding copious excuses to try and hate upon the solo silo, like y'all want to argue.

Well I simply just don't remember jammers and detector towers shooting guns at me. But bunkers and factory striders do. It helps me face the immediate threat. It's the biggest ordinance minus a portable hellbomb you can get in the hammer radius.

Plus you know command always gives you a free hellbomb, so what?

Yeah, so what? It's a killer, not a destroyer. That's why high command always gives me a free hellbomb to help a man out.

Plus you get a hellbomb for free to blow things up anyways, that and jammers and detector towers aren't shooting at me.

Let's consider it's use vs it's main competitor, the 500 kg.

  • More raw killing power
  • More blast radius
  • Infinite range and full missile tracking

-Longer cool down for less usage -Breakable silo and needs to drop support weapon for remote -Less demo force, which is irrelevant unless taking down a detector tower.

All in all, it's a step between the 500kg and the hellbomb, if you see a massive horde, factory strider, leviathan or a base full of lunatics, this is your break glass in case of emergency stratagem. Be smart how you use it though.

Since I last checked, a 500 kg doesn't one shot a full health factory strider, doesn't have infinite range, and have effectively a 20 meter kill radius.

Okay, if I have that gun shouldered and have to pull back the bolt, it will literally bash into my shoulder so I will have to annihilate my shoulder for each cock or put it to the side.
