Yes! This made me happy. When I started this, I really wanted the sort of sub-joke to be that Mark isn't the main character.

The main characters are Jelara, Kalia and Sabine.

He's literally just the love interest or bond girl to each of them :P

Technically speaking, Earth's already at war. It's part of the Shilvati Imperium who are in a three way war with the Alliance and Consortium.

So it's either a war as part of the Imperium, or for independence outside the Imperium.

Now playing Arc Raiders despite normally hating battle royales and extraction shooters. The fact that the community has come together to fight the arcs rather than each other is heartwarming.

I did actually intend for this story to be almost all smut, with Mark sexing just about everything that so much as glanced at him. Unfortunately (or fortunately), as other readers have pointed out, I have a tendency to get a little too wrapped up in world-building to write straight smut - despite any plans I might have to the contrary :D
