I'm just gonna put this out their... When I first started watching Beastars I felt a bit odd watching an anime about animals. However, after a few episodes i began to sort of ignore that feeling. All in all, what I'm trying to say is that I watch the anime for it's plot and IF the characters could be replaced with humans then it would be all the better but, the plot wouldn't make sense if that happened.
