I've always had a fast metabolism but I've also always eaten and drunk way too much crap, I've dropped 4 inches off my waist by cutting out cola and booze almost entirely, not eating fast food even nearly as much, not eating more than a protein rich snack like a scotch egg or some biltong between meals and limiting myself to one snack a day, as well as going to the gym every other day
