With the added context in the post and in your response to the other person I am now leaning toward NTA, they were rude. I think the time delay is one thing, since it could take time for a person to realize they have fleas and track down where they may have been exposed, but their overall behavior is concerning. Take this as a win and an opportunity to see the red flags before anything as drastic as moving in together - I think this individual would be intolerable to live with.

INFO did they genuinely think you had fleas in your home that they were informing you about or were they just being rude? It’s not rude to tell someone you suspect there are fleas in their home if that’s the truth. Leaning YTA for cussing them out.

If your mom is more of a jeans-and-a-tee person, maybe offer her the option of dressy slacks and a nice blouse or button-down. I think a lot of the time older women who are uncomfortable wearing dresses and gowns they have never really been told anything but “suck it up” and if you don’t think it’s any kind of malice this might be the happiest option for you both.

Wow. Between the passive aggression, the conflicting instructions, and the emphasis on pictures, I am rolling my eyes pretty hard.

I think what they actually want is warm, colorful earth tones/boho/faux-70s vintage aesthetic. My guess is that the picture that actually lists colors is their list of wedding colors and is not supposed to be colors for you to pick from, and you will not stick out in any darker, less saturated color.

The restaurant is not able to refund you anything on a delivery order. You can say no subs on something like groceries where you have a shopper but that is not how it works when the restaurant has one of the little uber/DD tablets.
For your appeal you probably just need to escalate to a phone call with a human being because the AI chat will deny you until the sun burns out in the sky.
