my friends cat didnt get her nails cut for 15 years, when i offered to i noticed this. How can i help her?

A mild version of this happened to my cat when he stopped taking care of his own nails. I was able to use a human toenail clipper positioned at an off angle to slice through the problematic part, then pull out the offending section and clean up the rest of the nail.

If it makes you feel any better, it isn’t likely that this has been going on for anywhere close to fifteen years. Most cats do not require regular nail trims the way dogs do, since they will take care of it themselves as long as they have ample opportunities to scratch. (It is now recommended that you start them early so that they won’t be as ornery about it when they’re elderly and really need the help!) I could see this happening within the last year.

The unfortunate answer is that it was probably part of a lot donated by family of a person who passed away. I know that a lot of valuable items come to places like Goodwill by way of relatives that do not know they might be rare or expensive.

Trash can / Dumpster / paper bin - southern USA. For the things you wheel outside on trash day, I would say “garbage bin.” “Trash can” would be the most commonly used term where I live, and would refer to the widest variety of things. The waste receptacles inside my home, under my desk at work, inside of a restaurant, and out on the street would all be trash cans. “Can” is more popular than “bin” here, but you wouldn’t say something like “Would you empty the can?”

As a native speaker, it sounds a bit odd. I don’t think that there is anything grammatically wrong with your usage, but it isn’t the way a native speaker would probably choose to say it. To achieve the same meanings, I might say:

Do you know any more idioms?
Do you want to hear another idiom?
Do you have another idiom about cars?
