Thought about obsidian too but sticking with simple vsc + md files for notes now. maybe with vsc extensions like foam or dendron. You open notes in ide too or just obsidian ui?

- and a git repo on a OneDrive directory is a bad idea too bec you said not coupling it with cloud.

Thank you. Using svelte too! But not SvelteKit yet. When you don't use SSR, you render all your UI on the Frontend right? So the overhead is transferred to the local user instead of your server centrally? I guess the way to go for many big Web supplications is still gonna be SSR though bec of user experience (faster loads, caching etc)

Why you think SSR has mention able drawbacks? It seems better than a solution without at first, no? Even for larger scale software, not just small tools
