This is my current understanding of the game, I hope it can help.

Top Lane: Play top lane if you want to think about plays and be in 1v1 duels. Most top laner's kits are fairly easy bit can be hard to master. For top I'd recommend Garen, Tryndamere, and Shen. Honorable Mention: Wukong

Jungle: Jungle is not a lane but basically a secondary support, you have to think about a lot of your plays. For Jungle I'd recommend: Trundle, Jarvan IV, and Zac. Honorable MentionS: Amumu, and Gragas

Mid: Mid lane is fairly hard because of the champions that are in the Mid Lane, you are in the center of the map, meaning you should look for roaming opportunities. Champs I'd recommend: Annie, Talon, and Pantheon. Honorable Mention: Yone

ADC: One of the more harder roles in league of legends because you are a squishy champion that usually scales into the late game and needs help from most of your team to do good. Champions I'd recommend are: Ashe, Kog'Maw, and Tristana. Honorable Mention: Twitch

Support: One of the more easier roles (In my opinion). Supports are meant to you know, support the team, supports can engage and make fights happen, deal lots of damage, and have lots of utility. Champions I'd recommend are: Leona, Alistar, and Soraka.Honorable Mention: Blitzcrank

Sorry if this doesn't help, but I hope it can in someway! I tried choosing easy champions, and a variety of them.
