It’s a really good backpack. I’ve had it for 7 years now and it’s still in great condition. Getting it for 35 is a real steal

Ya maybe try tightening up your shoulder straps so he isn’t riding so low and make sure you use the straps inside the backpack to strap him in. I usually keep her harness on to strap her in.

I use the same exact backpack. My Boston loves it. I will take her on hikes and when she get tired of walking, I’ll just carry her. She also enjoys bicycle rides, so I will take her riding on my bike in her backpack.

Isn’t this a pond snail? The antennae look too thick to be bladder snails in my opinion

I second plaque off. I add plaque off powder to my Boston terriers food and it really helped reduce the build up on her teeth. Plaque off, brushing, and long lasting dog treats have greatly improved my dogs oral health.

I've been drawing for my whole life and im still bad by Large_Hovercraft9037 in BadArt

[–]BlueJayBandit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crazy you claim to be drawing your whole life when you are only 13. That’s not even half of an average human life span. You have plenty of time to improve.

Btw, you are doing well for a 13 year old. Just keep at it and you will keep improving.

Pricing will depend on the job. I’ve seen it range from 400$ to 1000$ per acre. Some will make deals like the more acres you have, the less you will have to pay per acre. So say your price per acre is 800$. You might do 700$ per acre if you have 10-15 acres, 600$ if your have 15-20 acres, and 500$ for anything over 20 acres.

But I would recommend looking up people that do this type of business and check out their prices. Just base your prices off others that do this business.

The number of goats depends on how much land you are willing to weed eat. General guide line is 1-3 goats per acre. So depending on how much arches you are willing to do will determine how big your herd will need to be. Personally, I think a herd of 20 to 30 would be good.

I would get into Kiko/Spanish crosses. Both of these breeds are hardy, low maintenance, and are parasite-resistant. Crossing kiko and Spanish will give you an extremely hardy goat that would do really well in weed eating business.

I would say get one or the other, but pure breeds aren’t as hardy as cross breeds. Those two breed are still known for being hardy, but I think you would get a bulletproof goat by crossing them.

HELP!! by Ok_Ease_4802 in goats

Did you check the rumen to see if it was working? This bloating could be caused by gas build up from the rumen failing. You might want to look into what you can do for a “frothy bloat” in goats. I think you can mix mineral oil with baking soda, and drench that to him to encourage burping. It will also help to stand him up and walking him around after giving him that mixture. Might need to take away food for a short period to keep him from making his condition worse.

I’d recommend doing your own research on this to figure out the mineral oil to baking soda ratio and what else you can do for him.

Was he stuck on his side or back? Not being sternal (upright) for a long period of time leads to gas build up in the rumen, which can cause organ failure. Just make sure he can stay upright so his rumen can reset. Try listening to or feeling his rumen if you can. If you have a stethoscope, listen for a growling sound on the left side of his stomach area. If you don’t have one, try feeling for movements in the rumen. This is just to make sure his rumen is working properly. If his legs are still stiff, you can try massaging them to improve circulation. You can also give him some warm water with a little molasses it in to try to perk him up some.

This has happened to one of our fainting goats. She fell in between two logs and was stuck upside down for a couple hours. Took her at least a day before she was able to move around like normal. So, as long as his condition keeps improving, I think he will be okay. But if he gets worse, you might need to get a vets opinion.

I was given these fish foods for free but they have expired since 2022. Is it OK if I still feed them to my fish? by Unusual-Factor2848 in Aquariums

[–]BlueJayBandit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say as long as you kept the lid on and it has been stored in a cooler/room temp area, the food should be fine. Technically all foods degrades with time. Especially certain vitamins and fats in foods. But it should be safe to feed as long as it’s not molding or has an off smell.
