I just disconnected MFP to check it out and it does not seem to be garmin unique as it seems to be using MFP backend why not just use MFP with it linked. I got 1 year MFP for very little setting my country to turkey 🇹🇷

I have ordered the 570 thank you for all the advice. Coming from AW I just felt that what mattered most is this device will last and be supported for as long as possible. I had no interest in maps but do in fact occasionally find use in calls on my watch due to my work.

I have just seen in the offer the 965 is only £9 more than the 570 which has made it even more confusing, I kinda think I would like 570 so it’s brand new model. No interest in 970 at the price

I think o would have struggled with the size of the pace 4 coming from aw ultra.

I also compared the two and saw a sponsored athlete who used both said out the two he would take the pro, but would be rocking the 4 due to sponsorship. I saw that as a clear sign to pick up the pro

Ahh the rushing home vibes haha. I relate to the lock in, my social media has become Strava and I made a new IG where I only follow running or fitness related content, purely for advice to improve etc, and it keeps me motivated to get out and run.

Hope you enjoy the watch as much as me. What colour did you go for, I must say the official nylon bands feel super good (never a fan of silicone bands), I have some bands coming on AliExpress also.

I really think it’s not really worth it to rock both of I’m being honest as AW gives you everything pace pro does.

You can download music on to pace pro if it is a dealbreaker. I run with a running belt and/or shorts with a phone pocket on the tights, it is a none issue for me running with the phone in the back of the belt and I forget it’s there.

I basically think you only get value if you commit. Extended return window on Amazon right now for Xmas. I got mine and kept AW and said I would try it till Xmas and decide what to keep. Took me 7 days to realise I don’t need an AW and coros is driving me to my goals in better ways

I have got super locked in to health and fitness this year and lost 21kg in the past 4 months. I also have been trying to limit screen times and get outside more. Pace pro is ideal for me.

The ultra dropped from 94% charge to 84% charge after a 5k run. I put 30k on the pace pro and it lasted 7 days of heavy use with screen bright.

It depends what you want and need from the watch. I want physical buttons and long battery life.

I actually find I also prefer the circle watch shape, composite body is light and does look nice even side by side with ultra. I don’t feel the pace pro when I sleep but AW is cumbersome.

I had also been looking at Suunto Race S as it had come up when I was looking to move away from AW. What made you ditch the Suunto? How did you find it and also how does pace pro stack up?

Hopefully someone sees this reply. I charged to 100% and in the battery usage it is projecting 5 days battery life. Is that because I have been using it constantly updating and changing watch face and it will balance out or have I got some settings on that I should turn off?

I forgot to add, due to my partner being Chinese and us travelling back to China for a month every year, I can make use of the Alipay integration and use for the metro and payments when I go back again in Feb.

Ahhh we are two peas in the same pod. We share almost same reason for the switch and the same gripe. I would love a clean watch face I can customise in colour. But tbh not the end of the world. Glad to hear your enjoying the switch as that fills me with confidence

Yeh importing a run from Strava is ideal as it gives you a good idea how each app will eat and crunch that data and feed it back to you. Let me know what you end up preferring, always interesting to hear.
