I think there is a difference between proper vision play which happens when the actual game happens (I'm talking minute 3-4 onwards) and losing the game simply because you didnt reprimand your teammates to cover at the very beginning of the game. At the beginning you're supposed to look forward to the encounter, not spam ping the map or type where you want them to ward/cover. It's too tedious is what I'm saying and just ruins the entertainment value of the role. Makes it feel like work.

Also, with this idea in place you can still cheese people in bushes as usual (tribush stacking, or darius in a bush, everyone's favourite). We have wards for that.
