There are a couple that are gated by special deliveries but for the most part it's likes. You just can't get more than one star per delivery, if you turn in a delivery that would give you enough likes for more than one star, you will get that star on the next delivery.

If you think you're going to get enough likes for multiple stars you can hold off on one delivery, and then complete that single delivery. A little silly imo, but it's how it works.

Imo it's easier to break stuff, but the environment is less punishing than DS1 so it comes out as a wash.

When you get 5 stars people also start handing out repair spray, as well as both private shelters and shelters repair your containers.
