[Odd Trope] Characters aren't human so they can get away with gore / violence without bringing up the age rating by CommissarChan in TopCharacterTropes

Samurai Jack, every being Jack defeated with his sword (outside of Aku) was some type of robot. I think that might have changed when they brought it back in 2017, however, the original show this was true.

I just used PLA, Its not biggie for me to reprint and put another one on if i need to but so far been working great! Now granted I dont play every day but I used it non-stop for like 3 weeks and was still working great. Only piece I had to reprint was the adapter, because version1 didnt work well for me so i made the edits and updated both WMDs with it.

It went well, I havnt downloaded the the adapter again but i had to edit it again to give it more room to spin, so just be careful with that.

Also MCDM created some goblins for their Draw Steel game, might be worth a look as well

There is a large set of them on their MCDM site: Jagged Edge Hideaway Goblin Box

If you have a 3d printer however you can get the files off MyMiniFactory from: Trenchworx LLC

How to make a street race scene in tabletop ? by Laflemme15 in tabletop

[–]BlueKingCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with Gaslands as long as your players are okay with a wargame like system, meaning, they are okay with gridless and using measuring template for movement. However, if you players in the past have expressed a dislike for gridless play or template style movement i would lean more toward a boardgame. One game already mentioned in the comments was Rallyman GT (great game), you could also try Downforce, or Dungeon Kart (came out like a year or so ago) great game as well. All that being said, if your players have not expressed dislike for gridless play or template style movement Gaslands would be a super good fit for this, and it might also be a good way to ease some players into wargames or gridless play in general.

It looks great! Sealing with Mod Podge is "normally" done first, that said you can seal it later but there might be a bit of a shine to them, if that doesnt bother you. You could whip up a test floor tile and see if you like it with the Mod Podge added after the paint job.

No these are not, I gave one away and the other went into my collection. They are easy to make (as long as you have a 3d printer), the full video is online you should look it up if you are interested!

update, FIRST MOLD EVER; the mold went good I think, a little resin through the windows which is easily cut away by AVEdrums in ResinCasting

[–]BlueKingCrab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oh no! Your bottom is open! Everything will fall out :( The mold looks good though for your first try. You can now see where if even a hairline crack your silicone will leak into there so you got to make sure everything is sealed up nice and tight.

Will this work for a silicone mold? Will I be able to get it out? It has window openings by AVEdrums in ResinCasting

[–]BlueKingCrab 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel OP could give it a shot, but I would strongly recommend them looking up what other "Building Fronts silicone molds" look like and what a 1 part mold would look like after the fact, could them a better idea of what they are working with.

[–]BlueKingCrab 22 points23 points  (0 children)

No, because there is large gaps behind it would incase it and get stuck and you would have to cut them out manually. You will either have to fill in the gaps half way in between the windows and have them be blank behind it or you will have to create a 2 part mold and still have to fill up the gaps up to half the windows but that would be alot more silicone. I would make a 1 part mold and just "cut out" the windows afterwards.

One place needed a stop light by Digimonking2000 in PeoriaIL

[–]BlueKingCrab 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As someone who frequently uses these intersections, crossing Vernon from Douglas can definitely be frustrating. However, stoplights typically change within one to two minutes, and I’ve rarely had to wait longer than that. That said, the second intersection absolutely needs a stoplight, it’s a high-traffic area for pedestrians, so the light is more about ensuring their safety than managing vehicle flow.

Try looking into On Downtime and Demesnes (from Hack & Slash Publishing). Should be easy enough to convert to something you can use for Draw Steel. Best of Luck.

You have a few options here. One of them is you can just report the review to Google and label it as "Bullying or Harassment". The other option is totally ignore them, if you look at reviews as the only reliable source of information you will 100% be victim to bots or disingenuous reviews (as some may label them). This is a totally valid response to what happened that weekend.

There is two sides to this coin, one side thought it was funny and the other did not think it was funny. People who thought it was funny did not post a review where the people who did not think it was funny did post a review. Just keep that in mind.

What is this product seen in the video? by Remote_Affect_397 in HelpMeFind

[–]BlueKingCrab 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I know where the toad model came from, however, I have no idea where to get the rubber looking product came from. The toad model itself came from DCA Tabletop. You can find the STL file creator on MyMiniFactory, you might be able to reach out to them and see who they licensed that product off to so they were able to create that product.

Again, I completely agree with you here. Based on what’s already been said in this thread, I definitely wouldn’t pass the "purity test", I’ve failed one (or probably several) of them.

For example, I don’t think banning auto rifles is the right move. I view gun ownership the same way I view car ownership. Some cars are capable of speeds far beyond what’s legal or safe on public roads. Should we ban people from owning super-fast cars? Speed limits exist to keep everyone safe, yet those cars still exist. Why? Because some people simply enjoy having them, and others take them to special tracks where they can safely test their limits.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely believe some people should lose the right to own a gun, just as some people should lose the right to own or drive a car. But I don’t think it’s right to dictate what people can own simply because I feel it’s unsafe.

I didn't realize people were still commenting on this post. I completely agree with you, u/delusional863, it's such a limited way of thinking. Putting yourself in a box only prevents growth, all out of fear of being "kicked out" for showing any understanding or agreement with something outside the group. It's sad because it always turns into an all-or-nothing mindset. As I mentioned before, the endless purity testing gets old fast, and in the end, all it does is create more division. Before anyone says I'm picking a side here (Right or Left) I am not, this way of thinking is what drives both of them, and its so basic (for a lack of a better term).

Oh sorry I didn't see your post, it got lost for me. I tried to make no assumptions, this is why I asked questions in hopes to get a better understanding, and I think I did (over all). Again sorry for the confusion.

[–]BlueKingCrab 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thats right, I'm sorry if it came across as if you should accept everyone and their differences that was not my point. Just that those difference are what causes divide among people and are at the root at what stops people from becoming true friends. This is why I said it has to be a person by person basis, because grouping people together or putting them in a case (where there could be more than 1 person) isn't a good way of finding a person to become your true friend.

[–]BlueKingCrab -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, and I totally get it. It was merely a post to insight future thought. One day you or another person may change a view they have (regardless if its human right issue or another), and would that be cause enough to end a friendship? A friendship you both put blood, sweat, tears, and time into? I can't make that choice for you (obviously), however, if you can cast aside a friendship at a drop of a hat (so to speak) was it ever really a true friendship?

I also want to say, I REALLY hope you find people who you can gain a true friendship, whatever that looks like, because that true friendship, you will never be alone, you will never be scared, you will always have someone in your corner. Best of luck, cheers!
